"This is a very convenient hotel to overnight on the way to the ferry ports to UK. It is about 100m from the E40 although there was no noise from the road. The room was large, very smart, air con and has tea and coffee facilities. The restaurant and bars were attractive but we took the opportunity of driving into Brugge. Check in staff were lovely. There is a local town with pubs and shops, and Brugge is just 8 Km away. The parking at -'t Zand Underground Garage is excellent plentiful, 5 mins...

"We really like this hotel, the breakfast was very good, good location good parking, taxis were cheap to go into Bruges, we are especially liked Bavo at front desk, his English was better then ours and very helpful and knowable, he made our stay perfect!! The only dislike for the hotel would be no air-conditioning, but they do have fans and it wasn’t that bad but it was a heat wave, the staff is so accommodating! We will definitely come back!"

"Nice hotel, clean and well located on the edge of the city right beside the main train and bus stations for those wishing to use public transport, we used a hire car as we wished to explore Ypres and the surrounding WW1 museums etc at our own leisure, car parking was very easy as the hotel sits on the same site as the stations car park and is only €8 per night. "Right in the center of it all. Easy to walk to all sites, restaurants and shops. Very quiet, clean rooms, with large bathrooms. AC worked great. It is a longer walk from the train, if you have luggage take a taxi or a bus."

"This was our second stay and we once again enjoyed every minute of it. Staff were all very helpful and friendly, breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety and the room was lovely and clean. We liked the room with the shower more than the room with bath we had last time, so we will be asking for it again when we visit next. The location of this hotel is great too. "We stayed in a mansion suite which was amazing. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a delicious welcome box of Belgian chocolates waiting for us upon arrival. The buffet breakfast was incredible with options for every type of diet and a beautiful dining room. The spa was a lovely way to end the day. The location was ideal, quiet yet walkable distance to everything. I highly recommend this hotel for couples. It may be a little less appealing...

"Staff was great. The hotel had the vibe of going back in time which was cool. The property is older and in need of some updating. Our sink and tub didn’t drain properly and some persistent sewer odor was bothersome. The economy room was very small for two people to maneuver in. Breakfast was ample. The location was great—a bit away from tourist areas which was nice."
