The Onsen Hotel is located close to everything we wanted to do in Yufuin. The hotel and the staffs are excellent. The meals we had were amazing.

Great one night stay...
The location of this hotel is great. The fact that we get our own private onsen is absolutely wonderful to me and my kids. I don't have to worry too much about my kids bothering other people in the public onsen. The room we have is very large in size and very comfortable. Meals are great and service is good. All in all, it was a great experience.

This ryokan is a little hidden gem near the Kirin Lake. The room is spacious and clean. The service is immaculate with attention to details in all aspects. The dinner and breakfast are both elaborate and made of high quality ingredients. Free shuttle service is available, though the ryokan is within walking distance from Yufuin JR Station. A very enjoyable stay and I’d definitely return if I visit Yufuin again in the future. Highly recommended.

Very impressive ryokan
We stayed 1night and it was lovely stay at Santoukan. Staff was attentive and friendly. Kaiseki dinner was beautiful dont miss it

Beautiful place and excellent service
Top of the class, excellent service and they even park your car for you. Food is as expected, excellent and delicious. You ask for it at 7pm and you get it exactly at that. We had a room with private onsen, within a small japanese garden. Definitely recommended if you want some time with your spouse or partner.

Superb !
This hotel is outstanding. I would recommend everyone to stay here. Hotel has free shuttle bus to pick up at JR train station (u just need to book in advance) and also included 2 amazing Kaiseiki meals (very impressive). U can't find delicious Japanese restaurant in this town and most of shops closed after 6:00 pm. So, it is a good idea to find hotel that already included dinner for you. Hotel located near the lake and very close to walking street. We really had an amazing time there.

Top notch onsen ryokan hotel in Yufuin
Everything just fine from the first step you walk into the hotel, nice environment, staffs and the onsen itself. Nothing to complain about, you'll enjoy everything that is well prepared for you.

女將服務非常周到，有三個不同的溫泉池可以泡。雖然價格不低，但絕對物有所值，與台灣的礁溪老爺相比，山燈館給我的整體體驗絕對超越礁溪老爺，下次來湯布院一定再選這一家。

食べ歩きスポットから近いので車で行く場合は運転に十分注意するのと、17時以降は宿の売店以外ほぼ閉まるので早めに買い物を済ませることを気をつけておけば最高の滞在になると思います。 季節にもよりますが、蚊が寄って来やすいので刺された場合に備えて薬があると安心です(虫除けのノーマットは常備されていました)

시설도 긴린코호수랑 가까워 너무 걷기좋았구요 직원들도 친절하고 시설도 좋았어요~ 온천이 여러개라 이용하기 좋았고 엄마 모시고갔는데 매우좋아하셨습니다. 식사도 깔끔하게 괜찮았어요.

近金鱗湖的旅館，頂級服務，賓至如歸。
從車站拉大行李一路不分心走到旅館的話大約20分鐘，可以事先和旅館預約接送。旅館優雅別緻且古色古香，房間、料理跟泡湯體驗都讓人驚艷，還有專門的可愛女將服務。離金鱗湖、街道和有名的由布まぶし心餐廳都非常近，下次來由布院仍會優先考慮這裡。

유후인 도심지 근처에서 좋은 료칸
일본어는 조금 가능했는데 큰 불편함 없었구요 나카이상?도 매우 친절했습니다 모르는거 있으면 잘 알려줬구요 가이세키도 맛있었고 입에 잘 맞았어요 (2박했는데 아침,저녁 하루 하루 다르게 나왔고 맛있었습니다) 온천은 4개 이용가능하며 가족탕이 없어 아쉽긴했지만 온천 이용 사람이 많이없어서 나쁘지 않았어요 유후인 도심에 있어서 걸어서 다니기엔 좋은 료칸입니다 종합적으로 잘 쉬다왔고 나카이상이 매우 친절해서 기억에 남는 료칸이네요

산토칸은 주변 두개의 료칸과 자매결연을 맺어서 총 4개의 퍼블릭탕을 공유해서 다양한 탕을 볼 수 있을거라 기대했지만, 도착하고나서 보니 산토칸쪽의 2개의 탕은 공사중이라 이용할 수 없었음. 이에 대한 고지가 미리 되어있지 않아서 매우 실망스러웠다.

가격대비 조금 생각이 필요해요?
비가 억수로 와서 쫄딱 젖었음에도 1시간 전 도착했는데 체크인 안해주더라고요. 유노츠보 거리 활성화를 위한 듯 싶었습니다..그렇게 비오는데 사람들이 다 밖에 있었던 것을 보면요. 그래도 전체적인 서비스는 좋았는데요 다만 노천탕이 보수중임에도 미리 사전에 알림없이 원래 가격그대로 받으면서 그냥 양해해달라는 식이었어요. 그부분이 이번 첫 료칸에서 이미지가 안좋았던 부분입니다. 가이세키가 훌륭하다는 주변 지인 평을 듣고 부모님 위해 준비했는데 가이세키가 그닥 훌륭한지는 모르겠어요. 해산물 매우 좋아하는데 신선하다는 느낌이 없었고요, 그건 아마 겨울이라 방안에 히터때문에 음식이 말라서 그런걸 수도 있다고 생각합니다. 오히려 아침식사가 좋았습니다. 처음 가는 료칸이라 다른곳과 비교불가하지만 다음번에는 또가지 않고 다른곳을 가볼 거 같아요. 주변에 가까이 유노츠보거리 편의점있어서 편리했고 조용해서 잘 쉬긴 쉬었습니다.

직원 분들이 너무 친절해요! 가이세키도 조식도 다 맛있었고 깨끗해서 너무 좋았어요. 온천은 아담하지만 실내/외탕 다 있어서 좋았고 담에 또 묵고 싶네요^^
