This was a great value and oasis in a busy town. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially Dhuri in the hotel restaurant.

This is not international five star but it’s comfortable, quiet (cannot year the street (at least of your room is in the block furthest from the road) and above all it has a local interesting thoughtful charm to the design, fixtures and furnishings that feels more local than the more generic global designs that could be in any city. The showers are not great (lacks power and takes while for hot water to come through) and the hotel reception area looks a bit tired but overall it made for a better memory than most hotels which I do value. Plus the beds were comfy, the Aircon worked well and they had nice mosquito netting over the beds (although rooms cam sealed shut). Recommend upstairs rooms as they have nice balconies and more privacy.

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful hotel and highly recommend it. It's the ultimate place to unwind, an oasis of calm close to the town and not too far from the tourist attractions. Each member of staff in every area of the hotel is excellent, and customer service is outstanding. A fantastic place to stay.

This hotel was definitely a memorable experience in Yogyakarta. The reception area was less than impressive when we checked in, but this was offset by the friendly receptionist and the way she welcomed us.... fast forward to entering the main hotel area! We were blown away by the details and amazingly nature based sets of the hotel..... so much of personalization and details, it was simply amazing! Food was alright, nothing exceptional, but again, this was offset by the friendly staff who were so very accommodating and helpful. There is a really huge supermarket next door to supplement your food needs. Overall, an A++ to this gem!

We checked in at 9am and the room was ready! This was welcome after a 3:30 am start to our day. Our room was spectacular with a beautiful veranda in which to enjoy the garden and pool area. There was a travel assistant on site at all times to help you perfect your travel plans.

Had a great stay at Dusun Jogja Village Inn. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and kind. The room is spacious and clean.The breakfast buffet is superb, although my lunch at the restaurant was somewhat disappointing. All in all, would definitely recommend!

Oasis in busy business center
We had a wonderful stay at Dusan it truly is a beautiful oasis, the staff were amazing We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay, if you like traditional this is perfect. Outside there is not much to see or do, we used it as a base for sightseeing. Would highly recommend this little piece of paradise.

Wonderful
Wonderful oasis in the centre of Jogja. A great boutique hotel. Village compound format set around a pool with a really stunning garden. Wonderful traditional details through the rooms and compound. Great restaurant under a fabulous joglo roof. Excellent value. Lovely staff.

Friendly oasis
We loved staying here with our small family. The staff were great, and we loved the pool, the restaurant and the beautiful, quiet grounds and rooms. The location is also great - just minutes down little lanes to the local wet market or the Westen food strip.

Beautiful hotel in frightening neighborhood
As a single, female traveler arriving to the hotel around midnight, I felt frightened by the neighborhood. Luckily the entire hotel was enclosed by high walls and I felt safe inside. The room, the grounds, the pool area...all were lovely and artfully decorated. I had to leave early, so was not able to try the breakfast buffet. One bummer is that the practice of Azna (praying over LOUD speaker) by the mosque next door around 4AM, was very disruptive of the few hours I had available to sleep that night. The earplugs they give you when you check were ineffective for blocking out the decibel level of this interruption.

Oasis from the hustle and bustle of Yogyakarta.
Friendly staff and service. This traditionally decorated boutique hotel with a great pool in a pretty garden is like an oasis in this busy city. if you are a light sleeper being near the mosque may not be great, but it did not bother us.

Amazing stay
We had an amazing stay at Dusun Village. The team is one of the friendliest and helpful I have ever seen. The atmosphere there doesn't make you feel in a city. Food at the restaurant is delicious and the spa massage are good quality. Only downside is the prayer call at 5am as the rooms are not well isolated. All the mosque around are singing differently and starts at different time (sound more like noise than nice call). They provide ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

REJUVENATING
The hotel epitomed what Yogjakarta is ( so i realised )....BEAUTY,WARMNESS, SINCERITY, PROUD ( not arrogant )& INTERGRITY ! The 'azan' (muslim call for prayers) esp the morning calls .....is 'no issue'....as it functioned as an alarm clock, enabled me to raise and enjoy the day early. One day, it rains profusely but i enjoyed the sight & sounds of raindrops from my room balcony.

Geweldig hotel met fantastisch personeel, geweldig zwembad met aangrenzend restaurant. De kamers zijn helemaal een feest, heerlijk hemelbed met romantisch balkon die tussen de uitkijkt op het zwembad (zonder zelf in het zicht te zitten) en een heerlijk ruime badkamer. Enige minuscule minpuntje is dat het lang duurt voordat het douchewater warm is.

Wunderschöne Hotelanlage mit eigenem kleinen Spa (Massage, Pediküre & Co), sehr schönem Pool und sehr gutem Essen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und spricht gut Englisch. Einziges Manko: Die von dem Hotel angebotenen Touren sind teilweise 4mal so teuer wie die Touren von kleineren Reisebüros und umfassen nichts außer dem Fahrer.
