"The hotel is in a great location for exploring Melbourne north and south of the river. It is only a few steps to a wide choice of eating places and located within the free tram zone. The staff were friendly and professional. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a good view across the rail tracks of Flinders Station and the river. Our room was very quiet. We could occasionally hear the trains, but the sound was brief and heavily muted and did not disturb us. Room service food was very good, especially the lamb ribs! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rendezvous and it will be our first choice for accommodation when we return to Melbourne."

"Third stay here and hope for more in the future! No major complaints, but it would be nice to have softer pillows :) But even without that, I'd strongly recommend this hotel. Close to a tram stop and easy to access other parts of the city from. It is also in the Paris end of the CBD, which is a lot nicer than the part closer to Southern Cross Station"

"The property was central close to vic markets and all sorts of dining .The only real let down was the reception for tv and the wifi wasn,t that good. "

"The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, with good pillows. The addition of the kitchenette was convenient. The location of the hotel was convenient to cafes, restaurants, shopping and transport. My only issue with the hotel was that the bedside lamps were touch sensitive and so were easy to accidentally turn on in the middle of the night if you reached for something on the bedside table. And then you had to cycle through three brightness settings to turn it off. My solution was just to turn off the switch at the power point when I went to sleep. "
