"This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in while in Japan. Every floor has a different layout and the rooms themselves are like small houses. Everything is spacious, and ease to get around. Plus, the onsens are AMAZING. I almost fell asleep while using one. Most of the staff doesn't speak English, so either practice your Japanese or bring a translator with you. "

"Lovely quiet spot away from the crowds in Yufuin, excellent food and fantastic service. The hotel is older but has been maintained. The rooms are simple but clean, large and comfortable. As all rooms in Japan there is limited places to put suitcases and unpack fully. Lobby and restaurant are beautiful and very modern. Highly recommended. "

"This is basically “What you paid is what you get”. Hotel location is good, room is clean, staff are nice. It is old building, old furniture and bath room, heating system worked ok, but very old system. Old carpet. Typical Japanese business hotel size which is tiny. Free small breakfast (very basic) was a nice touch. Everyone there was sincere and I needed to stay one night in budget hotel by myself. "
