GOOD HOSTEL! Would stay again

This was a good hostel! The staff is Nice and helpfull, they have a lot to do at the hostel so that is Nice. Restaurant and breakfast was Nice. The hostel is located in the muslim market, that was a Really fun experience. Markets everywere! The only bad thing was that the wi-fi wassnt so good. Otherwise everything was good. Was a nice feeling.

You will get more than expected for the price you pay for staying here. First of all, me and my group of people had so many last minute arrangements and Steven and his team attended to us attentively, fulfilling all our needs. The place is so near to Muslim Quarter that its so easy to get souvenirs and you will not have a chance to be hungry. This place is extra cosy and all the staffs were so friendly to us. The toilet was cleaned everyday during our stay. Thumbs up to everyone in Alley Youth hostel!!!

Fantastic location and Great coffee

Wanted to write and say how good my stay at this place was. Great location and clean facilities. Really good coffee bar and pleasant interior. Staff was very helpful to find me a ride to airport for very reasonable price. Even walked me to location so I won't get lost!!! Would recommend and I would definitely stay there again.

Nice staff, fun location

Staff was very nice. Location is good because it's very close to the Muslim Quarter, if that's your thing, but about a 12 minute walk through busy alleys to the subway. Room was really dusty upon arrival.

This hostel is an unbeatable price in a very cool neighborhood of Xi’an. I got a clean, private room, with great sunlight and a nice shower. The staff are incredible. From helping me mail postcards, to a guided tour around the old market, to a huge help — I had to go to the hospital for dehydration and the staff accompanied me, helped translate, and kept me company during a six hour IV drip. These are the best people. I’m forever grateful. Pro tip: the Google Maps location is incorrect due to Google being blocked by Chinese ISPs.

Great spot to stay in Xi'an

Excellent hostel right in the middle of the Muslim Quarter and Xi'an itself. Very kind and helpful English-speaking staff. Also a cozy public area with a pool table, projector setup, and bar to hang out in. The lighting in the room was a bit dark, but the room itself was very clean, and the beds were comfy. Would stay again!

nice owner but you get what you paid for

This is a family-owned hostel and the owner is super nice. However the room is very small and basic. There are no toiletries or towels, nor do they change sheets if you stay for a few days.

It is a great place to be, all staff speaks fluent English and will do everything to make your stay enjoyable. If you have a superficiel sleep, be sure to bring earplugs, it can get a little noisy. Had a single room ... clean, simple room, bed was comfortable, bathroom clean Thr atmosphere in the hostel is very homey and if your looking for a budget good option ... this is the place ..

Great location within Muslims Quaters, Easy access to all amenities and eateries. Clean, spacious and good size bedroom and comfortable bed. Family run hostel very helpful and friendly. Some of the staff speak English which is a great help in giving useful information to explore the surrounding area. I would certainly book this hostel again if I'm coming to Xi An next time. Many thanks to Stephen and all his staff for making our stay so welcoming and pleasant.

The neighbourhood is a fantastic taster of the Muslim quarter. Anyone looking for an authentic taste of Xi'an needs to stay here at least once.

I enjoyed my time at the hostel. Stephen and his family are very nice people and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was a free upgrade and it was comfortable. Best part - the hostel is located in the middle of the Muslim Quarter. The quarter is a thriving area filled with excitement and many vendors selling souvenirs and food. The downside of the experience - an unreliable wifi that crashed occasionally.

旅館的位置在夜市的巷子裡面，早上旅館外面也有早市，所以附近環境髒亂，街上的吵雜聲也聽得很清楚，早上喇叭聲超級多。不是每個服務員都會講英文。房間不像照片裡面看起來乾淨，油漆有點斑駁，浴室沒有乾濕分離，洗澡後有積水，房間及餐廳裡的沙發需要清潔。早餐卷上有四種可以選，但實際上只有兩種，幾乎每天都會有小狀況，送錯餐點、忘記送果汁、某樣食材沒了要替代等等；菜單上的中英文翻譯也有不一致的情形出現。餐廳書架的書本都積了很多貓毛和灰塵（雖然貓是可愛的），不適合有過敏的人；餐廳地板也有很大面積的破損。衛生紙每天每人給一小捲，用完了要去櫃檯買。優點是價格便宜和wifi連線品質好。
