Hotel Polonia. The room was nice and spacious and clean. Breakfast was a reasonable selection. Hotel needs a little updating but other than that I would use again if in the area. Only a short distance walk to the city center. Ideal location

Good location but really dated

It is a solid 4 out of 5. Rooms are a bit dated could do with an upgrade, breakfast was ok. Location is great and very close to train station. Not too far from the centre as well. If someone is travelling on the budget and doesnt spend too much time in the room, and just need it for a quick sleep then it is ok.

The accommodation was an historical hotel. Unfortunately within 5 meters of tram tracks. The room itself could use some renovation but was clean and neat. The breakfast buffet was more than good: enough of everything and of high quality. Nice staff all around. Good stay and one to try as it is also close to the city centre and affordable. Staffs are really friendly and helpful. Property is quite safe. Beautiful historic interior. Convenient location, just 15 min walk from the main station. Delicious and wholesome buffet breakfast. Clean and tidy. 10/10 for the service. But as my room was on the roadside, sometimes can be bit noisg if windows are kept open. Otherwise the location is also very good. Public transport accessible and close to all the tourist spots. Nevertheless the place is a 100❤️

The hotel is well situated, within easy walking distance of the old town. The breakfast was very good, with a varied selection which was constantly being topped up to keep everything available. Our room was spacious, although the bathroom could do with being updated. It looked as if other parts of the hotel had been updated, they just hadn't reached our little corridor yet. Tea / coffee making facilities (even if payable) would also be good.

Hotel stay

Hotel alone look ok from.the outside and reception area nice staff friendly enough after a few hrs we decided to book into another hotel it didnt feel right something was off, tends in the wall toilet door was stuck to.close, wood chip coming off no pictures on the wall. As family we went to restraunt and there was no one there to greet us, it was dead which tells you something. So we end up leaving and the hotel it worth while to check other hotels first before bookong this one.

Three stars? Only just…

Room was comfortable. A kettle and mugs were provided but there was no tea, coffee or milk. Our room wasn’t serviced even though we left the sign on the door asking for it to be cleaned. The headboard of the bed is poorly designed. In the middle of it is a lamp and a socket so you have to balance on the side of the bed if you want to sit and read. Breakfast was decent but chaotic. Staff did not keep on top of making sure the coffee machine was filled and long queues formed. Overall, staff were not overly helpful, apart from the nice man who cleaned our table at breakfast. Reception staff were not very friendly. They also mistakenly gave one of our friends a key to a room that was occupied (at 2am) This must have been quite scary.
