Very pleasant stay. Very comfortable bed. As the name suggests, there’s no window in the Sun Pipe rooms but otherwise it was large with a good bathroom, air con and internet.

A special stay.

Our stay at the Watersmeet hotel in Woolacombe could not have better, the views from the hotel were to die for, the hotel staff were both friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The standard of the food was very good. All in all an excellent hotel that I would definitely recommend to my friends.

Lovely location , lovely food . Poor service in restaurant , possibly not enough staff. Indoor pool freezing 26/27 outdoor pool only warm if sun remains out with no wind . Slight warm jets go into it on a timer . Apparently both pools are better heated in 6 weeks summer hols.

We were lucky enough to have a balcony room, and Wow, was stunning! There was everything we needed for a relaxing, peaceful stay. We are looking forward to coming back for a longer stay and taking the opportunity of using all the beautiful facilities. It was amazing.

A first class Stay in one of North Devon's Finest

amazing hotel, room ready early for check in, room was lovely great sea view. The food at the restaurant was amazing as good as any Michelin starred establishment. Service was excellent. The walk down to the beach the next morning was awesome. Really first class all the way would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed meeting all Staff and found everyone really helpful and friendly. Lovely room, very comfortable. Nice lounge areas too and no dogs. The only thing we found challenging was that the menu for the evening meals didn't change. After two nights, we were lucky that a BBQ had been organised so we could order that for a change. Unfortunately, the BBQ finished at 5pm which was rather early for an evening meal.

Fantastic hotel- 10/10, would visiy again

The hotel is beautiful, sat overlooking the water. The dining room offers glorious views, and the dinner and breakfast were very good. The service was amazing, effective and friendly, from the receptionist to the restaurant staff. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The indoor swimming pool was very nice for a morning dip- good water temperature. I wholeheartedly recommend this stunning hotel.

Fabulous hotel & stunning views.

Fabulous hotel with the most amazing sea views. The staff are super friendly, helpful & respectful. We have stayed in the supine room previous & this time at the back of the hotel as they are the cheaper rooms. Very comfortable nevertheless. We made the most of the sun terrace as it was beautiful weather. The breakfast is lovely as are the views from the restaurant. We highly recommend this hotel.

The view, quiet and being away from midtown noise. Easy walk to everything. Property needs a little upgrading. Loved the in room personal touches which made a big difference to the stay. The second room of our stay was very small and not conducive to long stays. Very courteous staff.

We enjoyed our stay very much and the Staff were kind and obliging. As I am a little disabled found it very difficult in the Shower as nothing to hold on to and also outside the lift on the 1st floor the two steps to the right would be much easier with a hand rail. Views superb, and very warm and comfortable. Lovely Break.

V Good but not as good as it could or should be!

We had a wonderful weekend enjoying the scenery and local area. I would give this 5 stars if it wasn't for price vs level of service and attention to detail which left a bit to be desired despite good intentions.

Meal was disappointing and overpriced for what was presented. Good breakfast but so it should be at the price. Our room 14 suffered from the air conditioning in the pool below our room being on until after mid night and this was an upgrade. We will not be returning

Wonderful Watersmeet

Fabulous location! Room had amazing sea view with floor to ceiling bay window so you could sit in bed looking out over to Woolacoombe. Food was fantastic, breakfast and Bistro. Did not try the fine dining as just not our thing. Weather was lovely so we had all our meals on the terrace. Sun beds on the lawn were very comfortable, perhaps could do with a couple more as it’s such a great spot. Spent an afternoon at Coombesgate beach which is next to hotel and much quieter than Woolacoombe or barricane. Definitely take the walk out to morte point… stunning!! A real treat for us, our second break here and we cannot wait to go back. Oh… did I mention the sunsets!?!
