Hotel Dekat Woodlawn Lake Dog Park

"O'Casey's was exactly the respite we needed during the 2nd leg of our trip. We enjoyed very good sleep, great breakfast choices, and beautiful walks. We were close enough to walk downtown to the River Walk, the Pearl Historic Brewing Co., and many great restaurants. The host and owner, Amanda, was so welcoming and gracious, making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for the wonderful stay! We will be back!"

"The house itself is fine. Clean and good parking. The toilet paper fixture was broken, the soap in the bathroom is cheap. They charge $200 (insane) deposit of which they decided to take $22 because i slightly stained their crappy white towels with a smudge of makeup. They claimed that they couldnt be cleaned so they deducted that from my deposit. So, be careful staining their towels "

"Scammers"

"Location was close to downtown and met our needs. The house was clean and in good shape. Although, I think there were a few fire detectors missing. The dock was there and the detector was not. We didn't get to use the parking spot promised in the back due to concrete repair going on. But there was ample street parking. The fridge did not work when we arrived and the owner sent maintenance the next day to fix it. All in all, we had a great time."

"The pictures in the Expedia site are nothing to be compared to. The hotel is rundown and in very poor condition. We got there at 7pm, and at 5am I was up booking another hotel. I thought it looked very decent so my kids would know how a motel looks like and it was a very poor choice of a motel 6 to have been chosen. I am very upset that I spent the money i spent on this rundown motel , but I would’ve been more disappointed if I had stayed another minute."

"There were no parking lines so everyone was parked horribly and we had to park across the street, when we went to our room there were q tips on the floor and hair and old soap all over the bathroom. I went to take a shower and realized there was no shampoo, conditioner or toilet paper. The bathroom door did not properly shut. Overall very displeased with my stay. I will 100% not stay again and would not recommend to anyone."

"The property was close to most areas. Staff was wonderful Facility ok. Breakfast need to be up grade not my liking."

"I chose not to stay at this location because the staff (Alex), wanted charge me extra and refused to honor the online price quoted. He said because the room I booked was no longer available due to early morning check ins."

"The property is in a poor state of maintenance. The furniture is outdated and worn. The beds look like cots. The showerhead and faucet in the bathroom were rusted. The air conditioning in the lobby was not working, and the front desk staff had to lock the door after themselves. The housekeeper answered phones due to lack of staff and couldn't respond to queries or provide the receptionist's name."

"Great location to explore downtown"

"Very very bad experience here. Rooms and hotel are very dirty and really old. The keys to rooms don’t work! They don’t inform you about the breakfast hours. They also charge you for laundry machines that don’t work. Parking is very packed. Very dirty pool. They also don’t provide you any toiletry in rooms. Very very dirty and unhygienic hotel of holiday inn I have ever seen. Do not recommend this hotel at all. Please save yourself some time and peace by not booking this hotel."

"The check in was ok, he didn’t make it seem inviting, just there to do his job. The room was clean but very small. The outside of the hotel seemed rough maybe power wash the outside or repaint it. We were nervous going inside but it was fine."
