"I needed a place to lay my head. Mainstream inn was clean and comfortable. As a solo female, I felt safe there. I’m not one to need very many amenities. I typically don’t go to the breakfasts. There is none here, so it’s not a big deal for me. If you’re looking for fancy amenities, move on. "

"Nothing fancy. Good solid quiet bed for a solo traveler. I was in town for a golf tournament. Didn’t need any amenities. It’s in walking distance to 3 restaurants and a family dollar store. (A block or two) "

"First of all Hamilton, Ga., is a charming small town central to some of the nicest attractions in Georgia, i.e., Providence Canyon State Park (a MUST see), Warm Springs and the Little White House, Callaway Gardens, etc. From Don's greeting at the door upon arrival to looking forward to seeing Judy and Rosemary at breakfast our week long stay at Holly House was outstanding. We love staying at B&Bs when on vacation and this was as good as it gets. The variety at breakfast was excellent and...

"The Hotel property is very nice and peaceful! The room was freshly painted and had vinyl flooring which I like so much better than carpet. Bed was very comfortable!"

"I was greeted by Neil on arrival and he made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. The property was gorgeous and even though there was a party in the pavillion, I still enjoyed the pool, the bar, the grounds, and my room was a quiet serenity. I will definitely be back for a longer stay. Get a view room for the best experience!"

Our ac wasn't draining properly, so the room was extremely humid (windows so fogged you couldn't see out, despite outdoor highs in the low 70s) and made an alarming creaking sound every 45 minutes or so. The sheets were nice and the bed and pillows very comfortable."

"If you are into throwbacks with some upgraded amenities then this place is for you. It sits in a beautiful little town and you can imagine how it was at the turn of the century. We can’t say enough about this place from the price to the bed. Best mattress we have ever stayed on. We will be returning at some point and look forward to it until we do. Highly recommend."

"The staff were very nice and professional. No problems there. The hotel as a whole is a little run down. Exercise room leaves A LOT to be desired. Tread mill didn’t work and the elliptical trainer is about to fall apart — it’s in terrible shape. The room was adequate. Bathroom is very dark, hard to put makeup on. And no exhaust fan. The AC worked great. Love a cool room to sleep in. Bed was comfortable."

"The bathroom was not nearly clean. There were strands of hair on the shower floor and walls. The air conditioning was loud and did not keep the room cool enough at night. Other than that, the bed was comfortable and the tv worked fine. "

"The room was clean, but had problems. The door knob on the bathroom door was loose and barely hanging on. Both faucets were so hard to turn on, I could not do it. The outside door was also hard to enter. The breakfast provided consisted of coffee, orange juice, mini muffins and bananas. That was all. I will never stay at that hotel again."
