Econo Lodge Thomaston Georgia great place to stay

The only thing I was a little disappointed in was that they still advertise having a Seasonal Pool. When I said to them don't you normally open it on Memorial Day weekend? The answer I got was no they had decided to close it permanently. I decided to go ahead and stay anyway and even though the room was older it was beautifully clean and I have absolutely no complaints. I didn't use the iron but the hair dryer worked great also maybe a little disappointed they didn't have coffee for people to grab before they got up and started moving around but there was coffee available in the room if I really wanted it and there was a Dunkin' Donuts right down the road. Overall the room was quiet, clean, and very reasonably priced and I would definitely go there again when I'm visiting my family and Thomaston

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were displaced from hurricane Milton and had to extend our stay. We we're here for 4 nights with a dog. It was a pleasant stay.

It was ok! The hairdresser in the room did not work. The room was clean but had a small Oder. No conditioner provider there was a very very very small shampoo and location. The pool was not open! 😕

1. Arrived a property and the door was locked and no one was at the counter 2. Had to walk around the property and found a maid that called someone to assist me. 3. Was told that my reservation was canceled by the property because they were overbooked. 4. After some complaining (should not have) I was given a room since I was there first but may need to change rooms. 5. Found a cockroach as soon as I walked into the room 6. Room smelt of some chemical 7. Property advertised a pool but it was closed and appears to have been closed for some time. 8. Breakfast was a joke. 9. AC worked but barely kept up only things that worked was the hot water in the shower

The room was ok my problem is that there was a 50 dollar fee for having a pet even though it is pet friendly the fee should have been stated on the website when i reserved the room i know some of the indian owners make their own fees like they want.

The owner of this property is repugnant. He is the rudest, most unaccommodating hotel owner/employee that I have ever encountered. He is not fit to own or manage an establishment that directly deals with the public.

The picture on the Expedia site did not do this place justice. and the attendant was behind glass, very impersonal. Poor customer service and received conflicting information from the attendants on site. Will not stay at any other Econo Lodges if I can help it.
