"Staff very friendly, decor quite quirky which was why we picked it, not just the typical boring travelodge style, it is very individual. Our room was lovely, very spacious and warm, all facilities you would need. Free on-site parking a huge plus. We were staying for a gig in the city centre and an uber into town was less than £5 so can’t complain about location. Would def stay again. "

"It’s been a few years since I stayed in this well located hotel - I always remembered it positively but it’s been recently refurbished and it shows. The room was super comfy and very nicely decorated. The only noise was from revellers coming back to their rooms late. Shower was excellent - awesome pressure and lots of hot water. "Beautiful hotel even looking through storm Claudia! The food was first class in the restaurant with some of the best chicken I've tasted. The room was lovely and little touches like light coming on when you opened the cupboard & a night light in the bathroom added to the stay. Bed was soft and comfortable. Very pleasant stay with lovely staff and if we ever go up that was again, definitely high on our list to stay: just hope the weather is better :-)"
