The room smelled of smoke. One of our meals was forgotten in the bistro. The bed was too soft. Good things: clean and convenient. Oh and no lake or view. Bitumen all around consisting of pub carpark. We were able to shut out road noise by closing windows but the result was no fresh air.

On a recent road trip with two mates we where impressed by the ease of check in then after settling in to our rooms we could enjoy a couple of ice cold beers then when we where ready tuck into garlic bread, bangers & mash with sticky date pudding which was sensational thanks. One negative aspect that we encountered everywhere on this trip is that the main comes out when you have barely started yr entree so one of them has to go cold even when we specifically asked that that not happen. Very annoying.

Great location, convenient, only thing I missed was the rooms were not serviced but that might have been explained in the booking fine print, bins not changed, no clean towels. Great & convenient to eating facilities the restaurant in the Hotel was great dinning.

Room had everything necessary, plus a good Smeg Lavazza Coffee machine. Main meals at the Pub were very good quailty and a wide variety of options, on a Public Holiday. Prawn Linguine really good;.and the Burger delicious. Dessert was disappointing- just. a small re-heated sticky date, served with icecream.

Great renovations. Very large clean rooms. Very comfy bed with nice linen and fluffy towels. Lovely food at the pub that you can walk to. Very friendly staff and easy check in. Would definitely come back to stay.

Delighted by our stay at Lakeview. Reading previous reviews and seeing the photos, we didn’t have high expectations. But it over-delivered in every way. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Beds were ultra comfortable and the rooms spotless and freshly painted. Bistro food was also good. A great place to break up the journey south!

I enjoy staying at Lakeview on my business trips to the area because it's convenient to all of the South Coast. The rooms are well presented with new fancy coffee machines & comfortable beds with a great selection of pillows! The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Perfect stop for a single traveler, couple or a family

Great little spot close to the gong but not busy. Little noise from hotel was great as expected more staying a Fri/sat night but didn’t affect our sleeping at all, comfy room very clean

Great spot next to the pub. The food and facilities at the Hotel were great. The Motel was clean, had modern bathroom facilities and a comfortable bed. The noise from the Main road that runs past is to be expected if you do your research, but it was noticeable inside the room, as was the noise from the patrons leaving the Hotel early hours of the morning. Keeping all that in mind, I’d stay again. Coffee machine was a nice added bonus!
