"Check-in starts at 3pm. We arrived at 8pm and our room "was not ready yet." We're guessing that's hotel speak for "we gave your room to someone else." It was fairly annoying that we had to pull out our ID every single time we needed to access the elevator to get our room. Is there that much crime in that area? "It was one of my favorite places to stay in Yosemite. The location was beautiful, and I really enjoyed my time there. The only downside was the beds—they could definitely use an upgrade. The mattress was uncomfortable, and I woke up with back pain after sleeping on it. Overall, I would stay here again, but more comfortable beds would make the experience even better."

"Love the cabin; it's very cozy. I love the porch, and the fireplace was amazing. I even saw a bear for the first time while outside by the fireplace, haha! However, there wasn't any conditioner for my hair. I was sad to see all the shampoo, body wash, and conditioner bottles were empty, with no conditioner left. Love the coffee and so glad they had the right type of creamer (French vanilla—my fav). Overall it was good."
