"The Royal Oak Inn is situated in a lovely area. It was easy for us to park. On arrival which was somewhat late, there was no one to look after us. We were given our room key and on arrival in the room I noticed that there was quite a bit of hair in the sink and some in the bathtub as well. "These people are not interested in their guests and do not deserve anyone's custom. Apart from the barman, the owners completely ignored us on arrival while huddled around a table with their backs to us. We had travelled over 200 miles to get there, having booked many weeks ago and paid for They left us standing there for over 40 minutes with no explanation as to why we were still waiting for the key to our room.
