"While the views are excellent, the hotel itself does not match its price tag for off-season. Floors are sticky, table is never wiped, aircon has no other option but blowing arctic cold directly into your head, smell of mould if the door is closed. Also attempted to to add dodgy charges for minibar"

"Thought I would do something different and stay at a backpackers - I am always staying in hotels and feel so disconnected from people . Was worried that I am so much older - but was good to see the age range was from 20’s to 60+ . It really is a fun place - yes it’s a little like camping to me - I stay d in private room - great price . Kitchen fully loaded with every appliance and kitchen gear . I’ll be back"

"Enjoyed my stay. As advertised. I’d stay Again. Pool open until 9pm was very welcome. I found it strange that there was no clear or opening window from spa in bathroom out through lounge to view the water views."

"We had a great 3-night family stay at Whitsunday Terraces in Airlie Beach. The location is excellent—close to everything—and the views are absolutely stunning, which really made the trip special. That said, the kitchen and bathroom are quite dated and in need of an upgrade. The most frustrating part was the lack of WiFi in the rooms, which was a real inconvenience during our stay. Overall, a very enjoyable stay thanks to the location and views, but a few updates would make a big difference."
