The accommodation was amazing. Quiet small but perfect for 2 people. The pool and hot tub area was just in front of our entrance. The beach was across the road. And the town was a mere 5-10mins drive away. Would definitely recommend and come back!

We really enjoyed our stay in Villa 6. The Villa location was great as it had great views and lots of natural light and being on the end of the block of Villas it offered more privacy. Loved the layout of the Villa and it had everything you need. Beautiful sitting in the lounge and looking out to the water views. An easy drive to the shops and restaurants. Good walking paths along the waterfront.

What I appreciated most is that washer and dryer are provided within the unit. This is most convenient as we can do the laundry after dinner.

Really enjoyed our stay! Wonderful apartment, and nice setting. There was no milk in fridge as you would expect at a motel, and no dairy within walking distance. Apart from that, it met all our expectations and was great. Thank you, we will be back, and highly recommend!

Great place.
The Aqua Soleil Villa was the best value for money I have ever had. The apartment is on two levels with lounge, kitchen and dining area at the bottom and two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs, about 80 sqm in total . All appliances as in a normal house can be found. The complex also has a heated swimming pool and spa pool as well.

The parking was easy and had the location was great . The beach was easily accessible and a 5 min drive to the restaurants. We enjoyed the pool and spa, but the villa could do with a bit of updating/refurbishing. Some of the fans didn't work and the remote in the bedroom was faulty, there was also limited channels. Overall the property was good and had everything we required for our holiday.

Great two days here with magnificent views across Mercury Bay to Shakespeare Cliffs. Apartment modern and well appointed with all amenities and enjoyed the spa pool too. Only difficulty was long steep staircase for one of our party with mobility problems. Okay for us.

Absolutely terrible, bed so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep, unit was dirty (even after 6 weeks covid lockdown), we left early and stayed elsewhere after waking up with a huge cockroach in the bed and the owner did not respond when we told her. Would never stay again and would not recommend.

Great property across the road from the beach. Villa 23 was awesome - 2 levels , 2 bedrooms , lots of room. Really clean and the host was great

Disappointed - especially the cleanliness.
We stayed in villa 30 and it certainly was looking a bit tired. The floors and sofas downstairs obviously hadn’t been cleaned as there was cereal on the floors and sand in the sofas. Disappointed with the cleanliness of the ‘villa’. Also found sweet wrapper behind bedside table in one of the rooms which was easily spotted. Also found an extremely dirty cup, so we washed all the crockery and cutlery before we used it. There was a distinct odour coming from I suspect the waste disposal which was not pleasant. I did mention the cleaning issues when I caught a representative as we left. The villa was pretty well equipped but lacked privacy and could do with some net curtains. We had to keep the curtains shut or else everyone could see in. It was nice to have a pool and hot tub but unfortunately both were too crowded late afternoon to make full use of them. I certainly wouldn’t recommend it or return there myself.

We had a great stay in Whitianga and the kids particularly loved the pool. There were a few frustrating things about our unit 21. It was very very hot, and while fans were provided they did nothing but circulate the hot air, especially upstairs. I wouldn’t call the cleanliness “spotless” as there were fingerprints on the walls and dirty towel left in the machine for us. It’s the little things sometimes... no battery in the clock and no refil for the fly/mosquito dispenser. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and so handy being across from the beach

The Property was fine but the checkin experience was terrible. We stay in Whitianga all the time as we have family there and will not be going to this one again. I was given the wrong room number and instead of saying sorry I was made to feel like I had done something wrong . No hello? how was your drive? Lovely day? or anything

Close to the beach and a short car ride to the town which has all shopping opportunities, bars, restaurants etc. A good place to visit other areas from.. Spacious, everything you could possibly want from a house.

A great place to stay, plenty of room, felt like a house rather than a motel. We found it difficult to find our villa, the number was on the door which was upstairs, couldn't see from the car park.

Absolutely gorgeous villa with all the necessary ammenities. We loved the fact it was right across the road from the beach! The pool and jacuzzi was great too. Will definitely stay here again in future.

This was fantastic. A little different in that it's an apartment, so you can cook, do washing etc. It's great having the pool and spa to use and it's a very short walk to the beach. Nice and quiet too. Jacqui, our host has excellent communication and she is so kind, we got caught with bad weather and couldn't leave the area, she made sure we stayed there, safe and warm and refused to take payment for the extra night. There were also many other nice touches, coffee machine with pods, books, and a BBQ on the deck. I would definitely return here and highly recommend this place to everyone.

Great all year round accommodation.
Nice hot tub and heated outdoor pool. Comfortable accommodation with plenty of games and books for rainy days. A Seaview from the master bedroom and lounge was a nice added bonus. Well set up for a family.
