"Had a very good overnight stay… Dinner & breakfast were very tasty and well cooked. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom looked a bit tired on first impressions but was comfortable and the shower was excellent. "

"Lovely hotel, beautiful old main house with wood fires, panelled rooms, lots of lounges and spots to relax. Friendly reception and clean modern rooms in the mews. Plus two cats! Only thing to mention is that the signs for the outbuildings were a bit difficult to see when we arrived (in the dark & heavy rain), maybe they could be illuminated too? Otherwise a nice place to stay, we would like to go back and explore more of the history, grounds, bunker and restaurant."

"Room was great, lovely spacious bathroom. The beds are really comfortable, decent matress, which is sufficiently soft to not hurt my joints from arthritis. Friendly staff, good car parking. Good breakfast, where they are happy to mix and match for you."
