Hotel Independent di Michigan Barat

"Upon arrival, we were surprised to find that we had a suite. It was nice to have a separate area from the bedroom to sit and watch TV. There was also a kitchenette, large frig with freezer and a microwave. We had a wonderful view of the park across the street and could watch the sunsets from our room. One complaint: There were only paper cups for warming beverages and the microwave seemed to burn the outside of the cups. Would also be helpful to have paper towels available for drying...

"We did not find adequate breakfast options (maybe for lack of looking really hard) but we did eat at the Copper Rock and Kankakee Grill and both were AMAZING and I would recommend to everyone. Rooms were nice sized, comfy beds and pillows, clean bathrooms. (Carpets need a deep cleaning, but that's what slippers are for I suppose?!?!) Would definitely stay here again..... :)"
