Hotels near Westerland Beach

"The hotel was wonderful on many levels. It has a great location and has parking. The room was nice and the overall atmosphere was so pleasant and warm. The breakfast was very good and you could order anything on the main menu and it included any style coffee and grease orange juice. The cafe/breakfast room is magical in its decor and the service was attentive and competent, but not intrusive. Would I return? Absolutely. Our less than perfect elements included housekeeping that came at 9:00 am the first morning (too early!) and then didn’t return. Then on second day at 4:30 pm when we had returned from a day at beach. So we never got our room cleaned. Not a huge issue, but below what expected. The other issue was we were promised a cake and coffee on the house, and we took this (it was delicious) but without the main woman in charge the others didn’t know how to handle it and just ended up paying. On the flip side they made two sandwiches for us on our departure day, so perhaps that was to make up for it or perhaps it is standard. Either way it was greatly appreciated. So, in end, better than typical, we will return again, there were just a few organizational things that made it less than perfect. "

"Had a great time as a solo traveler. Easy to find, close to everything but quiet enough to rest. Very welcoming team, the daily free coffee and cake is such a nice touch and the spa fantastic to relax. Will come back!"
