"They advertise a breakfast but then have the room closed and no breakfast offered and the room was dirty and beds uncomfortable"

"The room was clean. We had the do not disturb sign on the door but they left a bag of clean towels on our door, we truly appreciated that. It’s directly across from the beach you do have to cross the street but that’s at any hotel on the island. I’ve stayed at several hotels on the island and this was by far the best! Coffee in the lobby 24/7 breakfast from 6am -9am yogurt bar, eggs bacon sausage biscuits and gravy cereal coffee hot chocolate Texas shaped waffles that were delicious. Several hot sauces to choose from jelly’s cream cheese all the things you would need to complete your breakfast. The pool was good the hot tub was a little cooler than I’d like but it was nice. This will definitely be my go to hotel when I come back! I seen a few negative reviews I almost changed my mind so happy I didn’t it was a great trip! Lots of parking and it’s free no up change when you get there"

"I really wanted to like this property as we were to stay only for one night. I inspected the bed which is something I do with every visit and noticed a strange stain on the pillow that you could clearly see through the pillow case. Removed the pillow case and it was a huge mold spot that was on the actual pillow. They did exchange that pillow. Next, I inspect the lounge chair that is in the room and there’s a huge mold spot on the seat as if people that were wearing wet shorts, consistently sat in that spot. Next, I inspect the shower. The floor of the shower had a hole in it with white flex tape covering the hole. I rarely write reviews as I try to give companies the benefit of the doubt but this was just awful. Paying $220 for one night with all of these problems was quite surprising. If I could see these mold spots, where else was mold hiding?"

"The morning of our stay, the woman working the front desk was manning the breakfast room as well. The only food available when we were there was waffles and cereal. No protein because she didn’t have time to put any more out. She was working hard -it wasn’t her fault - but we didn’t get the breakfast we had paid for and had to stop somewhere to eat before boarding our cruise. This was very disappointing, as we hadn’t budgeted this breakfast expense."
