"Good hotel and breakfast. Clean and close to city center. Only last day there was no warm water to shower"

"War eine schöne Zeit"

"Alles super!"

"We loved the complementary breakfast, which had a diversity of options, and was well cared for by the hotel staff. Rooms were small and basic but comfortable. Hotel was conveniently located a short walk from the train station, bus station, grocery store, restaurants, and the main shopping district downtown. Recommended."

"We booked 3 nights in a hotel apartment. The first night we spent in a small room and it was not the same apartment we booked, the reception closes at 1pm so we couldn't do anything. The next day we spoke to the only receptionist there who couldn't speak English and was using a translation app, she admitted the mistake and promised to try to exchange the room for an apartment or deduct the city tax which is a very small amount! Fortunately they were able to change rooms but due to lack of time...

"Very nice small hotel at beautiful location and excellent service."

"Excellent hotel, except for the wifi connection. City has limited dining options on workdays (especially monday and tuesday)"

"Det var dyrt at have hund med og det var udfordrende og ugennemskueligt at få tilføjet vores børn da der var gået rod i bookningen. "

"We stayed for 3 nights. Friendly staff in the restaurant. Everything worked and the apartments are spacious and so cozy. Very baby friendly! Although a bit of noise at night from other guests. Overall great stay with a nice location. "

"Pension Barbara is a very cosy and clean pension right next to the paths leading up to The Brocken. The hostess was very sweet and attentive, and we had a good stay. Schierke as a town is a bit dated and quiet in the autumn, when we visited. Is was difficulty to find a place to just have a couple of drinks etc. The national park, Brocken and paths are all excellent for a short hiking-holiday. Great nature, chalenging paths (if you want it), nice restaurant on the summit."

"Nice rooms, parking, restaurant "

"Very nice appartment with everything you could need. Nice building with lots of activities for the whole family. The only downside is that theres is a lack of parking spaces because the number of handicap spaces not being used is way too many."

"Solo una observación, las batas, toallas y pantuflas deberían estar incluidas en el precio por noche y estar colocadas en la habitación. Al tener el servicio del spa tan agradable, eso debería estar incluido. El parking también debería estar incluido en la tarifa."

"Really nice room"

"Beautiful views from the rooms. Receptionist was particularly helpful. giving us advice about where to go and directions etc"

"Fin mad, manglende rengøring og skiftning af håndklæder på trods af flere dages overnatning"

"Der blev spillet musik (klaver) tidligt om morgenen og der kunne høres voldsom høj musik sent om aftenen. Sengen var rædselsfuld, ingen topmadras, blot en gammel fjedermadras uden polstring. Ingen morgensmadsbuffet i højsæsonen hvilket er lidt sigende"

"the view from the room was exceptional."

"The hotel was empty and for the price very nice. The people having it was so friendly, and we had the best pommes of our trip. They were amazing. Very nice spot to have as start point for the very nice area. Do take the old train from Drei Annan hoche - we loved it"
