Very good stay can reccomend

I had a very enjoyable stay at AHORN Harz Hotel Braunlage. The location is ideal for exploring the Harz mountains, and the views from the room were lovely. The room itself was clean and comfortable, though a bit dated in style. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with something for everyone. Staff were helpful and friendly, and there were plenty of amenities like the pool and sauna to enjoy after a day of hiking. Overall, it's a solid choice for a relaxing getaway — not luxurious, but well worth the stay.

German style, not fancy, but solid and reliable

The stay was overall a very good experience. The hotel has an charming German style, it is not new but in good condition. The breakfast buffet was of intercontinental standard with a German touch. Dinner was also a buffet, but in a mid range quality, matching the price. The guests were a the for our visit mostly retired and a few families with kids.

Gut: Top Lage und Zimmer waren sauber (bis auf Teppich, der in die Jahre gekommen ist). Das Angebot für Kids. Schlecht: Essen war lieblos und basierte nur auf Fertiggerichten. Die Platzsituation beim Essen war schlecht organisiert. Teilweise wurden Plätze reserviert, aber nicht für alle Zimmer, entsprechend hatten wir Probleme zu unserer Essenszeit einen Platz zu bekommen. Es wird viel extra kassiert und nicht zu knapp, z.B. Sauna und ein Glas alkoholfreier Wein kostet in der Bar schon mal 11€. Schwimmbad und Sauna waren lieblos und in die Jahre gekommen.

Vi var 3 generationer afsted i 1 uge, og vi havde en skøn ferie. Vi havdde 3 dejlige hotelværelser; 2 med skøn udsigt ud over dalen og 1 med udsigt til bjerget. Der er rigtig god skabsplads på værelserne, og balkonerne er store, så man kan sagtens sidde derude flere mennesker. Sengene er dog meget hårde, og vi kunne godt have brugt en minibar til at holde drikkevarer kolde i (kræver opgradering til større værelse). Rigtig venligt personale, og mange af dem kunne engelsk. Der var en del børnefaciliteter, men desværre kostede stort set alt penge. Det var heldigvis i den billige ende, men det løber alligevel hurtigt op. Restauranten var pæn og generelt ren, men der blev ikke støvsuget ret grundigt under bordene (der lå krummer fra morgenmaden dagen før). Morgen- og aftenbuffeten var rigtig lækker, og der var noget for alle. Alt i alt et rigtig dejligt ophold i et område med rigtig mange oplevelser.

Checkin hat über Pfingsten sehr lange gedauert. Parken dafür, dass man unten gratis parken kann, relativ teuer. Essen beim Frühstück mit großer Auswahl an Speisen und vielen Sitzplätzen. Schneller Einstieg zum Aufstieg zum Wurmberg. Und gute Lage zu Ausflügen mit der Seilbahn

Udmærket hotel som, som helhed, fortjener 3 små stjerner. Værelset var fint og omgivelserne var også ok. Aftensmaden er billig, og det er der grund til, for hvad buffeten kunne yde på udelukkende, var én stjerne værd. Trist, uinspirerende og en sjasket oplevelse.

Hotellet havde klart set bedre tider. Alt virkede slidt og lidt beskidt, på vores rum lå der f.eks. brugte engangsskraber og vi måtte tre gange bede om at de gjorde det ordentligt rent inden de rent faktisk fjernede den. På samme måde med buffeten i restauranten hvor vi spiste morgenmad. Der var ret beskidt og fedtet.

Et stort meget larmende hotel. Et familiehotel, med unger der får lov til at løbe rundt som det passer dem. Der er ingen opsyn med buffen, børne finger i alt. Barpersonalet meget uhøflig og beskyldte os for ikke at betale ( det havde vi gjort) Parkering er meget dyrt. Måske ville det hjælpe at ansætte voksne mennesker. Vi kommer aldrig igen

Die Zimmer sind groß. Die Möbel dazu sind sehr altmodisch. Im allgemeinen sind die Zimmer sehr spartanisch eingerichtet. Eine Kaffeemaschine finde ich sollte heutzutage zum Standard gehören. Das Personal war oftmals sehr überfordert zB. Wartezeit in der Lobbybar ne gute Stunde auf 1 Tasse Kaffee. Essen war sehr angenehm ob Frühstück oder Abendbrot das Angebot war immer sehr vielfältig. Wir waren jetzt 1mal da würden es aber kein 2 mal wieder buchen.

Ældre fint hyggeligt hotel med rimelig kører afstand til Gosler og Wernigerode. Hotellet var pyntet fint op til jul. Fine store rene værelser med komfortable senge og et pengeskab. Meget fin morgen mad og generel god service. Eneste mindre godt var deres aften buffet, der var meget kedelig og dyr.

Godt værelse - flot udsigt

Godt beliggende hotel. Vores værelse lå på 9. sal med altan og fantastisk udsigt Vi var dog ikke opmærksom på at det var et resort - og deraf rigtig mange børn. Usædvanlig mange gæster til morgenmaden som deraf kunne virke en anelse kaotisk. Stort udvalg på morgenmads buffeten

In der Not für ein, zwei Nächte

Der Ausblick aus der 9. Etage auf den Wurmberg war super. Mit Kissen auf den Stühlen, hätte man abends noch mehr Freude gehabt. Mit einer besseren Belüftung im Bad, würde es vielleicht nicht so muffig riechen. Der Service zum Frühstück ist mehr als ausbaufähig. Am Buffet suchte man gesunde Anteile vergeblich, einzig das Brot war lecker; es dauerte ewig, bis die Tische neu eingedeckt wurden, abwischen bedeutete, Krümel auf den Boden zu fegen, ein Lappen für mehrere Tische und keinerlei Desinfektion. Das Personal war bei Nachfragen wenig hilfreich. Wir baten, auf der Terrasse einen Tisch trocken zu wischen und erhielten die Antwort: Komme sofort. Darauf warten wir noch heute. Auf dem Zimmer wurden wir auf Bekleidungsregeln hingewiesen, jedoch kümmerte sich niemand um deren Einhaltung.
