"The room was within walking distance from the bamboo forest and local restaurants. It was hard to find dining at night because some restaurants close early and you have to cross bridge to search for other restaurants. Too many gnats flying around. Gnats were also in the rooms. The staff were really nice and very helpful and patient."

"Four Sisters is a very well-run apartment hotel located in a quiet Kyoto neighbourhood. There are lots of good quality bars restaurants, cafes bakeries combinis supermarkets etc all within a five-minute walk. It's only a short walk to public transport which means the amazing sights of Kyoto are readily accessible. We stayed a two-bedroom apartment on the first floor that was very clean and spacious and well appointed. My family of two adults and two kids really enjoyed our five-night stay...

"Loved the check in process (convenient next to the station) and then the free shuttle (in a Hello Kitty minibus) to the apartment. The room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed Netflix on the projector screen after a busy day sightseeing. The washing machine was convenient to have in the heat of the summer and we really enjoyed our stay."

"It was a great stay. The location was between the major shopping areas and the train station. We found that we needed to cab to most notable shrines in the Kyoto, but the place was large and very roomy. We enjoyed the Japanese style extra room for our child. Having a washing machine was a definite plus. The self serve checking in was easy to follow, and the virtual staff were quick to respond to our questions and concerns. Would recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto. "

"Staff is lovely, well equipped rooms with a kitchenette and a washing machine, like many Japanese hotels it’s tight quarters but has everything you need. About an 8 minute walk from Kyoto Station, 20 mins from Nishiki Market. A/C was great in the room. "
