Nice hotel room with a kitchen. It was very close to the Gion district and easy to access the Sanjo train station. We traveled as a family with 2 young children. The place can feel small, but Ok for a short stay.

Great location in Gion and good sized flat. Went with my 3 teenaged children and the adults had our own separate room in the flat. It is a bit tight with three teenagers but still a nice place, good facilities, and excellent location. It is a mostly digital check in so pay attention to directions before you arrive.

Excellent hotel! Modern, tons of amenities and easy in and out. Love the keyless entry and the rooms are fairly spacious and include a washer/ dryer combo. Really nice spa/ sauna facility to rent for private rental at a very reasonable rate. Hotel is located within walking distance to all of the action but on the fringe of it so it’s not noisy. Great decor and lots of USB ports , microwave, large fridge, cookware etc… Would definitely stay here again and we loved Kyoto!!

It’s very nice and roomy, easy to check in with a friendly front desk, you will need a code which they emailed ahead of time to check in, when arrived we have been told that we need to pay 300 yen per person per day for tax to be paid at check in which seems to be pretty common in Japan. You will need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, there is a family mart just beside the hotel, about 15 mins walk to the central city, bed are on the smaller size but comfortable,overall it’s a great stay.

Great space for a family - could have easily fit more than 4 in our unit. There was a pretty functional kitchen - well stocked with utensils but no supplies (pots and pans). Thankfully a very convenient and well stocked Family Mart exists right next to the hotel, and is open 24 hours. The location was great, being right next to a bustling market, amazing restaurants, and historical temples. Check-in process was a bit confusing because we arrived a bit early, but a staff member immediately picked up the phone to help us. But the washing machine in the bathroom definitely made up for it.

Quite a central location and well kept property. Unfortunately we were provided with a room that was right off of the lobby and they couldn’t move us anywhere else. Manager cited being fully booked but I understood that the owner/GM was being strict and did not wish to accommodate. Rooms were clean and well laid out. Didn’t have an iron or vacuum which would’ve been nice. We had these items at a different property with similar set up. Spa was fantastic and luxurious.

This was the best hotel I have stayed in Japan, and it was located in a quiet and peaceful area. Despite this it was walking distance to gion and major tourist attractions in Kyoto making night strolls very convenient. The room was super super spacious unlike most hotels and it was a very comfortable stay. It was clean and I particularly enjoyed the tatami style room, which was very relaxing at the end of the day. We also used their spa service, which was much needed given the amount of walking you do in Japan. I would stay here again!
