Wattala Hotels with Swimming Pool

"The property was near the beach and has a walking path. Almost all the hotel staff and at the front desk were nice. The choice of dishes at the buffet were excellent. Most of them were delicious. And the staff at the restaurant were very obliging. My husband is a vegan. He had lots of choices and was very happy. But some at the front desk were not very helpful. "This hotel is disgusting. We checked in really late because of a delayed flight and are grateful to the staff who came to check us in at 2am. However, the room itself was the worst room I have ever stayed in. The floor was so filthy that my children's feet were pitch black in a matter of minutes. the pillows and towels were both dirty, the bed sheets smelled musty, the fridge wasn't working, the bathroom was also filthy. there were stains everywhere- it was disgusting. I would never stay here...
