"The whole experience was brilliant, from the welcome we got and great local tips, to the accommodation and breakfast. It was such a peaceful place to stay and we would highly recommend it. In particular, the staff were friendly and super helpful."
"Room a bit tired but doesn't detract from the enoyment of the stay. Room and bathroom spacious and the bed was comfortable, perfect for after hiking up Scafell Pike. Good, hearty food and friendly staff. Perfect for what we needed."
"As i was a solo traveller i had the room for one night only ,very tidy ,very friendly and really clean i would go back again the overall experience was perfect. "
"Beautiful location with sea views, this property was comfortable, with every amenity that you would need, except for staff. The property is unmanned except for a lovely cleaner. The main property is quite a walk, and that property is staffed.
If you’re after a self serve kind of place, that is comfortable and beautiful right on the ocean, this is perfect. I would stay here again."
"Stayed to do the c2c bike ride very accomadating . Bar was well stocked with a good choice and breakfast at 4 oclock which was very appreciated and served with a smile"

"A perfect stay! Amazing comfy, cosy and massive bed which gave a perfect night sleep ahead of us climbing Scafell Pike which was really easy to get to. Super clean, loved the modern touches but also the traditional parts which remained from the barn. Breakfast was amazing and loved that it catered to vegetarian and non-dairy options without having to ask for this. We loved watching the alpacas from our bedroom. The freshly made cakes each day were such a treat and tasted beautiful. Only 10 mins drive from the beach, and some lovely restaurants like The Wild Olive. Can’t think of any faults!"
