"As a historic hotel it is normal to have things not quite stellar, but how the two ladies at the front desk handled the issues on Wednesday is what earns this less-than-favorable review. It shouldn’t be the guest’s responsibility to ferry messages between units. It shouldn’t be a guest’s responsibility to request working air conditioning more than once. It shouldn’t be expected for a guest to wait and talk with the engineer.
