"Really nice hotel in a great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Shower was a bit dated with tiled flooring and sliding doors that weren’t on their rails correctly but the rest of the room was great."

"Large, clean & comfortable bed. Breakfast in Sky bar, 5th floor exceptional. With an amazing view. Visited, casino, cinema & Spa during a two day stay. Excellent location from Birmingham airport, 5mins in taxi. Nice selection of shops & 18 restaurants to choose from. Would highly recommend. Staff great too. "

"Clean everywhere and such a divine scent as soon as you get through the revolving doors. Welcoming and friendly staff. Was upgraded to a king from twin beds which was good. Great selection of options for breakfast. Early supper of gammon steak and fries and tomato, avocado and mozzarella salad with chili and ginger chicken skewers was lovely. Passion fruit posset was gorgeous. Made for a a lovely pre- theatre treat. Nice cocktails too made for a lovely, relaxing and memorable stay. "

"Clean, polite staff and well located, but lack of parking is a setback. Pool is dated and craving for renovation. Pool is in a different building across the road which is a university sports centre; not stated when booking. No towels provided at the pool. So make sure u get a towel from the room if you are staying at the hotel. "

"Due to the refurbishment works the bar/dining area was not great & limited menu choices for dinner. Could do with signs showing which doors to use to enter the hotel. Staff were helpful & room comfortable. "

"As lovely as the hotel looked and as central as it was, it was not in a nice area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though on the 11th floor, it was still noisy in the room. There were ear plugs provided with a note from the hotel, but they didn’t really help with the constant noise from outside. There were also holes in the curtains."

"The staff were very helpful & informative. The breakfast buffet could have more items however it was still decent. For breakfast, we were offered vegetarian sausages seperately as the buffet did not have any vegetarian sausages. That was very thoughtful of the staff. The room had everything we required, a hairdryer, a fridge (requested earlier), a fan & were able to adjust the heating in the room. The spa facilities were nice & clean."
