"Letโs face it, the lifespan of hotels isnโt infinite. Days Inn was a solid, if a bit less expensive place back in its day. Despite being a Wyndham property, you canโt get away from the fact that the brand itself doesnโt command the respect it once did. That said, while this property sure isnโt perfect, it isnโt terrible, either. First off, it is super convenient if youโre traveling I-70. It takes just seconds off the highway to get to the hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. And even though I didnโt need anything when I arrived other than a bed, there are plenty of food options. The room was outdated as you might expect. The lighting is dim. The carpeting is old. It looks like a 90โs hotel room out of its prime. Butโฆit was respectably clean. My wife would not have stayed there, but for me, it was fine. The shower was good, with decent pressure and as much heat as a human can ever ask for. Possibly the hottest shower Iโve ever experienced! (Not that I used all its capabilities!) The bed was the perfect firmness for me. If you like a very firm mattress, youโll be disappointed. For me this was great. It was super comfortable. The pillows were likewise nice and soft. I never turned on the TV, so canโt speak to that, but they did have a nice plug-in USB charger in the room, which is great. Overall, if youโre looking for a decent, convenient and affordable place to hang your hat for the night, look no further. Itโll treat you fine."

"Andy was so kind and welcoming. What a fantastic place for a 2 day getaway. Clean and cozy with hot showers. Thereโs a fire pit and plenty of wood so we roasted brats and marshmallows. Canโt wait to visit again in the fall! 12/10 stars!"

"The staff at the hotel were the nicest people ever! We got to the hotel before the check in time, but they let us check in early. When we inquired about places to eat, they recommended the restaurant there and several of the waitresses chatted with us as we were checking out the menu trying to decide if I'd be able to eat anything on it because of my dietary issues. The hotel itself is decorated with a good mix of comfort and history. Our room was small and quaint. We were in the back of the historical section so it was quiet. The only complaints I have are the bed was way too hard, there isn't a fan in the bathroom and when I was showering the water all of a sudden got cold. Otherwise this is one of the best places my husband and I have stayed in! The hotel is right next to the state park where there's a spa and a Roman bathhouse where you can go soak in the mineral water. And again, the front desk clerks are the nicest, friendliest people!!! If/when we get back to Berkeley Springs, we will definitely stay there again, just not in the same room. ๐ "
