The hotel felt safe, it was a very spacious room (King + daybed), one window AC unit for a large space; however, it was hot. There is significant road noise but they provide ear plugs. Town felt safe, nice place to crash for a night with my family and dogs.

Spacious, great location. Love the history of the place. The bar is loud, but ear plugs are provided. Closes at midnight, so it's not an all-night party.

Such a great little historical town. Very clean and friendly people. Owners are extremely nice and took the time to talk and have pleasant conversation. Food was great across the street at the Pub in which they own as well.

Lovely area and fantastic staff. Some of the rooms are a little sparsely furnished but they’re very clean and well maintained. The hotel sits over a tavern so be ready for some noise leakage on nights when there is live music. Not a lavish experience but overall a great stay.

Quick outing

Nice older hotel in a historic town. Perfect for our weekend wedding trip. Missed the point it does. It open until 4 to retrieve the keys. But our stay was nice.

The hotel s really a old stype Inn. There is no front desk or hotel lounge. You go to the Tavern next and receive your key and then go next door and up the stairs to your room. No elevator that I could discern. If you are good with all of this old style of hotelry... then you are good.

Cool historic hotel

Overall, our stay was ok. The room was clean and large enough for our family (7 total). My only complaints are that the areas where the bedrooms were got hot due to their being only one window unit for the whole room. Also, the beds are not comfortable. However, the hotel is very cool and the history is interesting.
