Fast check in and convenient to things. The blackout curtains didnt block out any sun and the place outside could use an up date. The room was nice and comfortable.

Nice overall stay

The woman at the desk when we checked in was so sweet. She even gave us some food ideas for breakfast. We were with family and when we asked for room close together she put us in side by side rooms. It was perfect. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable.

The beds are so comfortable the room was somewhat clean dont look like they sweep the floors and for it being a smoking room it didnt have the over poweing smoke of cigarette smoke over great stay

Excellent for a night stay for road trip

Building is old, but newly renovated. Very close to the exit/entrance of highway, gas station, and Waffle House!! All we needed for 1-night stay were there! Clean comfortable bed, clean shower with good hot water. Very reasonable price. Pet friendly as well.

The coffee machine was broken!!!!! It was very noisy because of all the trucks driving by. The location was great, in that it was close enough to our destination points in the area. Other places closer were much more expensive, especially since we were mainly just sleeping there. We didn't like that there were no windows that could let in fresh air. The fan was loud, and we aren't fond of air conditioning.

This property is a very old motel with nicely renovated rooms. The budget shoppers definitely choose this motel as their go to when visiting Cincinnati as seen by the license plates from all over the country. About a 20 minutes drive to downtown, this motel is on an exit where new Hotels are being built. The outside of the building is not appealing at all but the rooms are. There were a couple of stains on the sheets, but nothing that were left behind by previous guests, they were clean. When shopping the bottom 1 or 2 % of the hotels that's being offered, you cannot expect perfection. The area is safe, quiet, and walkable, with Skyline's famous chili spaghetti there waiting for you. When traveling to the city from this direction have your cameras ready, this is the view you want. And enjoy your stay in the much improved city of Cincinnati.

Good stay, great value.

Well-sized, very comfortable room. Clean in the middles (don't look in the corners or behind the bathroom door - you'll find a crumb collection.) But the sheets and towels were clean, the beds were comfortable, the water was hot and plentiful - it was a good stay at a great price.

Not a happy camper

We booked a king handicapped accessible room and they refused to give it to us. They said it was "out of service." (After confirming our reservation) I had to use the bathroom with the door open. Even when you are married you'd like a little privacy. Burn holes in the bedding, insects in the sink area, loose crude in the corners. Every other place we've been has plastic cups by the sink. None here. The fridge had a freezer so we were able to refreeze our ice bottles for the cooler. Microwave worked well. Parking was convenient, bed was comfortable. Pillows were flat but I always bring my own.

BED BUGS STAY AWAY

When i booked the room i asked for non smoking. Upon arrival there was no non-smoking rooms available. I was exhausted ehen arriving due to a jouse fire i took the room anyways. The lobby was very nice and clean amd as the pictures showed. When going to the room there was an over powering smoke smell in the room and the floor was clearly unswept or mopped but i could deal with that from being exhausted. I layed down and was out in no time i woke around 5 hours later around 6am and felt something crawling on my arm and there was a bed bug. I only used 1 bed and pulled the blanket back on the 2nd bed and there were multiple bugs on that bed as well. Went to the office and they refused to do anything since it wasnt reported within 30 minutes. I will never stay here again.

Hope you don't get the pleasure of checking in with Darlene. She's a real "peach". Booking with Expedia it sent over the request as a smoking room when we are non-smokers. She was so hung up on the smoking policy she wasn't even listening when I tried to ask to be switched to a non-smoking room. She then got biligerant and when asked if this was her attitude she proceeded to state she's had 17 years in the business and knows people like me and not too worry the whole thing is being recorded. Look at the reviews and she's been getting away with this for over a year. NEVER would stay here again just because of her even though once in the room it was comfortable. Oh, and housekeeping tried walking into our room at 8:10 in the morning. Maybe the owner or Red Roof Inn corporate will one day realize what a detriment she is to their business.
