"Solo trip post hiking the Seven Sister's Cliffs. A beautiful and calm place to go to after a challenging hike. My room had a gorgeous view of the English Channel and the entire room and bathroom felt like you were staying in a top spa accommodation. Breakfast was of an array of nice choices. "Great spot to stay. Lovely to have the castle grounds to wander around after hours. We really enjoyed our stay in a deluxe double room overlooking the gardens. So much to see and do in the castle and castle grounds and lovely walks with a great view of the castle. We ate in the Castle View Restaurant in the evening and enjoyed our meal. Breakfast was also good. Reception staff so welcoming and explained everything brilliantly. "
