Lovely place, comfortable bed, comes with everything you need, fire was ready to use, lovely hosts, heated towel rail, lovely breakfast, amazing area which is very peaceful, would definitely recommend, thank you!

Our hosts were amazing, anything we asked for or needed to know they could not have been more helpful 😀 wily definitely be going back to stay.

Blissful anniversary break

Wonderful stay. Especially if you want peace and quiet. Lovely location. Victoria was very helpful. Would recommend any of the antipasti’s Would highly recommend

Cosy night away

Lovely cosy stay - especially when it was so cold outside! The breakfast was lovely especially the homemade granola. The hosts were super communicative and helpful and came out of their way to say hello when we arrived

Amazing!

Absolutely amazing experience in a unique and private setting and very comfortable bed too. Breakfast provided was great and the shower was powerful and refreshing. Nice to get away from it all and enjoyed having just a radio and no TV but there was great WiFi if needed.

Lovely stay.

We spent 3 nights in The Shepards Hut which was a lovely experience. We meet Victoria and David who are both very welcoming. The Hut had everything we needs for our stay and was only 5 mins drive to the local town which had plenty of places to get food and drinks. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone wanting to get away from the busy lives, which we had booked longer. Thank you Victoria and David Laura and Wayne

The shepherd's hut really gives you the experience of being outdoors such as privacy but with all the home comforts of a flushing toilet and hot shower.

Great stay will stay again

We contacted the owner prior to our stay and they made arrangements so we could check in and leave bags there. They even gave us taxi numbers to help us out. Breakfast was delicious and I am sure we'll stay here again

Sehr schöne Unterkunft im Grünen in der Countryside für Ruhe und Entspannung, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten befinden sich in der Nähe. Besser ist es natüröich, ein Auto zu haben. Wir waren im Januar da und wir haben es sehr genossen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich, das Frühstück gesund und ausgewogen und englisch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus im Garten mit Aussicht ist sehr komfortabel. Danke für einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und viele Hinweise, um die Gegend zu erkunden.

Awesome stay in the country.

Great location in the country. Would need a car to get into local villages, as very rural but was beautiful, quiet and host was great.

Such a peaceful place

Stayed in the Oak Room for one night - it has lovely views and the garden is beautiful. It is two rooms in the attic plus a private bathroom. There are low oak beams so take bumping you head as part of the charm and some narrow stairs.

Comfortable and well positioned

An over-all very enjoyable stay in a neatly private annex of the 17th Century main house. Be sure to ask for the garden cottages if you want more privacy. Service was friendly and breakfast a delight. Good spot for travelling to nearby castles and other historic sites,

Verbouwde schuur in boomgaard

De B&B heeft twee losse schuren waarin de gastenverblijven zijn. Smaakvol ingericht, schoon, mooie badkamer, wifi, lekker ontbijt in de serre van het huis. Vriendelijke mensen.

This place was more rustic than we had anticipated. We stayed in the attic room which was three flights up tiny stairs - not good for older folks like us or dragging luggage up. The bathroom was large, but on the second floor, so you had to manuver the windy steps down to the bathroom. When you drained the tub (no shower), there was some sort of pump that made quite a noise. We had to use a pitcher in the room to rinse our hair as the tub faucet was too close to the side of the tub to rinse your head under(there was no sprayer). The ceilings sloped a lot in the bedroom and it was difficult to stand without bumping your head. The sitting room across from the bedroom was the same, but had more space. The breakfast was great and the breakfast room and gardens were lovely. The owners were on vacation and had left a French girl in charge which made it more difficult to find the place since she did not know how to direct us. It is not very close to any towns.

Mind Your Head

This was a nice rural retreat in Kent. What I didn't expect was to be stuck up in some ones attic. I'm sure the barn conversion is absolutely lovely. The property is a very old cottage which means very small door ways and low beams. I would say it breaches health and safety. I knocked my head several times during the one night stay, fortunately not severely. I did have to bite my tongue to stop my from screaming profanities. Not what I expect of an over night stay. The bathroom didn't have shower, something I expect as standard. All else was fine.

Best destination for a relaxed time away

First of all the location and view is one of the best. Room was super comfy and nice and very tidy. We loved the privacy at the same time of all the necessary info. Hostess(Victoria) is very warm and helpful. We would love to visit again.
