"Rooms are basic but clean, I really wanted my own space and a break from a dorm room. Dinner at the hotel restaurant is probably one of the cheaper options along the beach strip of other hotels. Laundry service was only $18 for a bag and same day return. I’m lactose intolerant and they don’t stock any alternative milk options but there is a supermarket at the end of the road and you can pick up supplies there. "Expedia is the issue. Cost me a ton of money as service back to airport didn’t come on the right day because Expedia is incompetent. Called 4 times to get it right and still wrong. Never book a package deal with Expedia. They can not handle any issue correctly. I am done with them for life"

"It was hard to leave Hideaway! I had a few hickups and staff were very responsive. One was an airconditioner that broke down, the staff quickly moved me to another similar seaside bure. The other was on my second visit when I had left an major electronic device behind in my hotel in Suva. Staff at Hideaway jumped in to contact the hotel in Suva, ensure the item would be transferred to Hideaway the same day. That was a huge relief. all in all, I would recommend Hideaway and I would stay there...

"First off, staff are amazing. However, rooms are very dated and lack power points on one side of bed. Luckily we had an extension cord. Shower/toilet sliding door is VERY heavy and requires some admin to use Wifi is an extra. Really Hilton. Do better. Overall nice pools etc but needs to have an upgrade"
