"I had a magical and memorable stay at this beautifully kept and historic Chateau. The Chateau is located around 20 minutes from Mont St. Michele and hours drive from dinan. The chateau itself is located on a peaceful country road on grounds inhabited by a lovely flock of geese who spend their days meandering the properties’ ponds. "Nous avons passé une nuit au château de Chantore, la chambre était magnifiquement décorée, et très spacieuse. Le château est restauré avec soin, en respectant les couleurs et les décorations de l’époque. L’accueil est très chaleureux et les propriétaires ont à coeur de transmettre leur passion pour ce lieu. Le château bénéficie d’une jolie vue sur le mont saint michel et est au coeur d’un immense jardin très bien entretenu. Une promenade y est aménagée avec deux circuits de longueur différente...

"Quiet area. Easy access to St Lô. Old building. Polystyrene ceiling tiles in bedroom.Fire hazard? Very comfy bed. Very steep, dangerous stairs to room. Owner very nice but did ask for payment again even though we pre-paid. Basic continental breakfast but only 3 euros each.Overall, for a one night stopover after a 9 hour drive,it did the job."
