"Wish I’d had the time to take advantage of the spa, bar, and pool. With so much to see and do on Favignana one really needs a longer stay! Strongly suggest learning as much Italian as possible if you don’t already speak the language. "

"Everything was fantastic. But just one note- the furniture that is made in ratan wood, makes noises all night long. It sounded like bugs inside it, but I am pretty sure it is actually just pressure contracting and expanding. It’s a bit hard to sleep. Not sure what the solution is, but wanted to mention it. "My wife found this to be a very basic and quiet place. It could be transformed with a new and nicer kitchen unit and bathroom and matching and clean cutlery and crockery etc. It is nevertheless unique and wonderful. The surroundings are stunning and it is ideally set amongst pine trees not too far from a fantastic beach. Having a little self-contained unit is ideal for children and the price was not excessive, so overall it was still a good choice. "

"The facility was lovely and it's proximity to the Salt Museum ideal. However, I have never been in a hotel room where we could not regulate the temperature before. Apparently, there is a master control and we froze all night. Opening the window to warm up was not an option because of insects, so there was no way to regulate the temperature. Also, the 10 am check out is a bit premature given the isolation -- 11 would be better. The breakfast was excellent. "

"The breakfast options were varied, including healthy options and local foods. The room was extremely clean and the space had a gorgeous view of the ocean. The best part though was our host, he was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful, providing several restaurants and activity recommendations for the area as well as suggestions for elsewhere on our trip. Francesco, the owner and manager, is exceptional! He is very professional and helpful and ensures you have everything you need. This is a great place to stay as you’re in the middle of the shops and walking streets and port, all right there! Great place and kudos to Francesco for his excellent care and professionalism!"
