"The food at the restaurant was terrible. I ordered a bottle of wine and they sent another that was 3 times the price without telling me. They threw us out because they said they had to set up for breakfast while they had other tables still sitting. We were still drinking our wine. The only person that was nice at this place was the person at reception. "

"The staff at this property took excellent care of us. They were patient, kind, and helpful. The food was very fresh and flavorful. The shower was a little difficult to get working properly but we figured it out in the end. Really loved the view from the balcony too. 10/10 would stay again. "

"An interesting hotel with 70s-80s decore. A feeling of the past however with a view to the future with serious commitment to green credentials. A slow food restaurant extends the good feeling of solar power, and recycled papers in the bathrooms and dining rooms. "Grand hotel Cappuggi did not disappoint. I stayed with my 3 children for 10 nights end of june , start of july. Very reasonably priced 4* hotel experience haf by all. A little out of town (2 miles) but free shuttle bus (or taxi if not available) shows excellent customer care. Receptionists very helpful, cleaners nice and cheerful. Fabulous swimming pool essential in 38° temperatures. Football and tennis available. Ball provided keeping my boys well entertained. Thiroughly recommend this hotel as a point from where to explore Tuscany and further afield. "
