"Amazing property, felt very high end but still authentic. The staff is very nice and ready to help. The room was comfy and always beach/pool sunbeds available. The breakfast is amazing 10/10 we looked forward to it every day. The onsite reasturants and drinks were over priced for what you got (but the dinner buffet also 10/10 at 45 euros per person). If you are travelling with a baby they have lots of high chairs at all eating places. The only thing I would say is the pool is deep (for kid swimming) and also if you are not travelling with kids this place is packed with young families (great for us, but if I was on a romantic getaway I would choose adult only resort), the town of Malia is walkable about 25 mins - only 5 min drive. But the town is geared to young clubbers and strip jointsā€¦ BUT the ā€œold townā€ is cute and small and has good restaurants, so I would just go into old town to dine out. The beach is nice but more rustic/with large rocks. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Amirandes Hotel and would highly recommend it. The hotel itself is beautiful, and our bungalow room was lovely. We especially enjoyed being able to walk straight out and look at the sea. The main pool is huge, with plenty of space to relax, and there are lots of activities available throughout the week. We particularly loved the padel, olive oil tasting and pottery making. I also had the signature massage, which was a full-body treatment. I love a massage, and this was probably one of the best Iā€™ve ever had. The poolside team were always so smiley and attentive, regularly bringing us drinks and making us feel very well looked after. The cleaners were equally friendly, and our room was immaculate every day. We ate at the buffet most evenings, but we also visited Blue Monkey. If you are staying on a half-board basis, they offer a ā‚¬20-per-person credit against the bill, which was a lovely bonus. The food there was delicious. The buffet staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and we especially loved the pancake lady! The morning team were also fantastic, taking our coffee orders as soon as we sat down. Every member of staff helped make our stay so enjoyable. We would highly recommend Amirandes Hotel and would love to return."
