Lovely place for a multi-night stay.

Unique property with great views overlooking Verona. 0.5 km drive up a narrow road with steep drop-offs, so be prepared.

De rust en het uitzicht is werkelijk fantastisch. De ontvangst was heel hartelijk en vriendelijk. Zeer aardige mensen. Hier komen we zeker nog een keer terug.

Close to Verona, nice grounds, great stay

We booked a same night stay and check-in was no problem. The villa is located up a windy large hill after you enter through the gate - that wasn't clear to us from the booking, so just so you know - keep going! What an amazing place - we loved walking around the grounds and it is so close to Verona - we drove in and parked for the Opera, no problem. It was a lovely stay - and breakfast options were plentiful.

Lovely view, clean and quiet

Lovely hotel with a beautiful view and super quiet. The owner is charming and the breakfast was delicious. Very clean and well appointed. Highly recommend you have a car to stay here as it is just outside the city and the drive up the hillside would be impossible on foot.

Wir kamen an einem verschlossenen Tor an. Dieses Hotel verlangt, das man 72 Stunden vorher ansagt, wann man ankommt! was wir taten. Klingeln half nichts. Wir waren uns nicht sicher ob wir überhaupt am richtigen Platz waren. Der Nachbar hat schliesslich das Tor aufgemacht. Dieses Hotel erwaehnt NICHT, dass es in einem “Park” liegt, und nur auf einem langen, unbeleuchteten, holperigen Feldweg zu erreichen ist. Nicht gut wenn man plant nach Mitternacht von der Oper zurueck zu kommen, was wir fuer den nächsten Abend vor hatten. Die Angestellten schienen unorganisiert zu sein und sprachen nur italienisch. Wir sahen keine anderen Gäste, obwohl das Hotel angeblich ausgebucht war. Wir entschlossen uns wo anders zu übernachten und sind nach 15 Minuten gegangen. Das Hotel Zimmer schien auf ersten Anblick in Ordnung zu sein. Dieses Erlebnis sollte eine Lehre sein KEIN Hotel total im Voraus zu bezahlen. Ein Mann mit dem ich wenig später telefonisch in gebrochenem English sprach (Besitzer vermutlich) obwoh dieses Hotel nur von Frauen betrieben wird laut Webseite, sagte mir das absolut kein Teil meiner Bezahlung zurück erstattet wird. Ueber 300 Euros! Verona war ziemlich ausgebucht für diese Zeit, aber er glaubte wohl keine anderen Gäste fuer die nächsten 3 Naechte zu bekommen. Der Nachbar musste das Tor wieder aufmachen um uns raus zu lassen! Wie im Jail! Leider unsere MIESESTE Erfahrung mit Hotels aus 30 Buchungen auf Expedia.ca hauptsächlich. Hoffe dieser Bericht erscheint!

Rural oasis just outside Verona. Be prepared to drive up a steep hill on a rustic road and go out for dinner. Staff were exceptionally helpful although English is not their preferred language.

Eine tolle Oase der Ruhe oberhalb von Verona. Nur 10 min bis in die Stadt, Parkplätze am Ufer der Etsch 1€/h und der Stadtbummel kann beginnen.

Beautiful location in the hills overlooking city

Located only a 5 minute drive from the city centre on a main bus route (24) this property is truly a gem of a find. Stunning location in its own grounds the property has been tastefully refurbished without compromising comfort and style. The breakfasts were magnificent with lots of the produce produced by the estate with homemade jams, honey, olive oil, capers, tarts etc. and eating in the morning sun on the terrace was a real treat. The terrace is worth mentioning as a favourite spot to catch a cooling breeze to escape the stifling heat of town in 35+ degrees. Sitting under the stars listening to the soft sound of the cicadas in to the wee hours will be a lovely memory. It's amazing that such a chilled and peaceful location is so close to the city and the old town and main attractions.

Un charme fou !!

Un petit chemin dans les Oliviers sur 500m (avec un dénivelé important ...) permet d’atteindre cette belle Villa, pour une expérience pleine de charme. L’accueil est chaleureux, et la magie opère lorsqu’on découvre cette terrasse ensoleillée qui surplombe la plaine de Vérone. Si vous cherchez un hôtel de charme et de qualité, n’hésitez pas !!
