"We enjoyed our stay in our cozy room number 2 with an amazing view! After a short walk from the train station, we turned onto the passageway that led to the property. The passageway had 86 stone steps up to the property and then a metal staircase with 26 steps to our room. It was a workout to carry out luggage up the stairs, but the view was worth it! The trail to Corniglia goes right by the property which was fun. It was rainy when we left so we needed to be extra careful as we carried our luggage down all of the steps!"

"We couldn't change settings on air conditioning, but we never asked for help, either. We got very cold...but ultimately that is our fault. We should have gotten help..or blankets. The staff were very friendly and helpful at front desk. Our dinner was spectacular!!! I would definitely stay here again!. Our view from our room was beautiful. The pool and hottub bar area was soo beautiful. Thank you, Porto Roco for an amazing stay! I also loved having a shuttle ."

"We stayed in room 3, which did not have a proper door. It was more like a sliding door with tainted windows, so sound and light travelled a lot from the hallway. One night other people that were staying at the Vernazza Apartments came in around 2 am and were pretty loud, even knocking on our door and wanting to open our apartment! The apartment was clean, however we only had one roll of toilet paper and a tiny bar of soap. There were no refills as there is no human being to contact with, only a What's App chat bot. Lots of steep steps to go up so keep that in mind. I would probably try to get another apartment that has views of the ocean if I return to Vernazza."

"L'emplacement est magnifique, loin des regards, une vue exceptionnelle. Les déjeuners "maison" sont de bonnes qualité. Les seuls "hic" sont la distance avec le village de Vernazza et l'accès. Le transport en commun de soir est à 19:00, donc pas de marge de manoeuvre. L'hôtel devrait donner plus de détails sur le transport et l'accès. Sentier pédestre assez difficile pour accéder au village, mais vue imprenable. Chambre petite. Les proprios sont très gentils et serviables. Belle expérience."

"For our stay in Cinque Terre we chose the town of Vernazza and had an outstanding stay at the Camere Giuliano Basso. Heed the advice and pack lightly, or plan on leaving a portion of your luggage in a luggage storage area near the main office, as there are many steps to get to the room. However, once you are there the climb is very much worth it. The rooms are actually small cottages reconstructed to resemble cottages from medieval times. The interior space consists of a room with a bed, and then a large bathroom area. It was very comfortable, and the setting made it special. Outside the room there was a patio with tables and chairs, from which you could view the picturesque main street of Vernazza, all the way to the ocean beyond. It was a great place to catch a sunset, and to just relax at the end of the day. We would highly recommend Camere Giuliano Basso if you are traveling to Cinque Terre."
