"Great spot for exploring the area and well placed for shops and food in the centre of Chamonix. We booked a room with a mountain view and were lucky enough to be on the Mont Blanc side of the hotel. Worth checking when you book/before you check in. The room itself was all great. No air conditioning, but we didn't need it as it's cooler in the mountains than elsewhere in July. The only thing missing from the room were tea and coffee making facilities."

"The property was great. The room and bed were very comfortable. The balcony offered Wonderful views of Mont Blanc. The spa and hot tub or outdoors, and provided a wonderful view of Mont Blanc. "Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day. This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...

"We stayed for 2 nights as part of a longer trip to the Alps. The team couldn’t do enough for us and our 2 dogs, a very pet friendly hotel, we were also upgraded to a view of Mont Blanc (thank you!).
