"Nice Place, friendly staff. Good views all around the property. A museum on the property that they allow you access to when checking in. Very Interesting. I did not make the dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was very good. Fresh Lamb on the menu right from their farm. Delicious! Gift shop and book store in lobby. Room had sitting chairs, a work desk and chair, Good bed, good shower, comfortable pillows. The lobby of the building had free coffee and tea station 24/7 and a sitting area....

"Breafast menu was fine, but would have like to have seen some dried fruit options as well as better toasters for bread. The rooms were nice and spacious, beds comfortable for a great night's rest, and the bathroom was a better size than most we experienced so you didn't feel like you had to turn in place to move around."

"Gorgeous stay, wish we were there more than one night. Saw caribou and the northern lights while we were there! Had a pretty awful, very overpriced meal at what seemed to be the only nearby restaurant right across the street, so grab food before you get this far out or do a more diligent search than we did."

"This is a nice guesthouse with separate duplexes. The rooms are small and the sink in the bathroom is the smallest sink I have ever seen. Good water pressure and hot water. The room is heated by an electric heater and it was pretty hot. It’s fine for one night. Parking is easy. Staff were pleasant. Dinner was good but pretty expensive."

"Prachtig appartement met een schitterende ligging tegen de berg aan met uitzicht op de waterval. Goede bedden. Boven een vide met 2 bedden, echter geen gordijnen! In het voorjaar/ zomer is de slaapkamer de hele nacht licht. Inchecken via Gerdi guesthouse op 2 minuten rijden."

"Wow oh Wow. Sometimes a gem falls into your lap. The Guesthouse was one of them. Green fields, sparkling river, a mountain, and a WATERFALL. In late May, newborn lambs were frolicking in the fields. The host was great, breakfast was one of the best. Located conveniently to Jökulsárlón glacier. It is a simple farm stay - very reasonably priced - but a priceless experience."

"The hotel was so comfortable with heating floor system. The breakfast was pretty simple but we appreciated the staff specially prepared the breakfast earlier for us as we need to head out earlier for our glacier excursion. We enjoyed the hot tub very much! We can even saw the glacier from the hotel room! Highly recommended! "
