"Perfect. The hotel is tucked away in Lezzeno while still being less than 5 minute walk from the ferry. Lovely peaceful place, the room (we had one with separate seating area to spread out) was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Our host Silvia was so very helpful, and runs a beautiful hotel. Breakfast was delicious too"

"Barzy Urban Country House is a beautifully restored home and former woodworking studio with stunning design and thoughtful details throughout. We were warmly welcomed by Eleonora’s mother, and Eleonora served an incredible homemade breakfast the next morning—complete with fresh local produce, fantastic vegan options, homemade juices, and figs picked straight from the tree!

"This place is a perfect work of art, which is wonderful. The GPS takes you slightly further than you should go if you are using Google maps or Apple Maps and driving here. Meaning that the hotel is above the little town that it shows to be near or in according to the GPS maps.
Other than this, everything was perfect!"

"We had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable, and the location was extremely convenient, right next to the ferry port.
The hotel restaurant was lovely, with great food and a beautiful atmosphere. The only unusual thing was the pool service — you couldn’t order snacks while sitting in the pool lounge area and had to be seated at a table instead.
Overall, a beautiful hotel in a very convenient location, and we really enjoyed our stay."
"We spent 3 nights in a really large nice apartment suite with a balcony. We were next to the pool but it was quiet with a nice view of the lake and Monte Bre.
The hotel overall is a bit tired and in need of fresh paint, but the grounds were very clean.
We loved the pool for a cool break from the heat and crowds of Lugano.
Its a trek to find restaurants, even with the bus stop. We found good dinners 12-15 minutes uphill or downhill and skipped dinner the last night.
The staff were very friendly and attentive."
"Breakfast was very good; they have a variety of fruits and other items, and I really loved the decor.
The food and the pool bar was very good, and dinner at the Liberty restaurant was awesome."
"I can’t say enough about the concierge team! They were able to arrange transfers, boat excursion, taxi…anything we needed with just an email. It was all arranged prior to arrival and was perfect.
The afternoon terrace lunches were delicious, especially the gin and tonic experience. And the housekeeping staff exceptional. We had a beautiful room, and I would 100% stay here again if we return to Lake Como"
"We loved staying at this property — everything is always clean and well maintained. Our only complaint is the afternoon restaurant service. When we tried to get a few drinks, the service was extremely slow, and we ended up leaving the property to get drinks somewhere else instead."
"The room was clean but under the bed was very dusty. A handle fell off the door to the balcony. Reported this to reception and it was repaired the same day. Two lights not working in the bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Level of English good when required. Air conditioning excellent. Parking good. Free in the sun. We paid for underground secutr parking. Good breakfast buffet."
