"This B&B was a great alternative to the Homestead resort itself. It was close enough to easily walk to the resort within a few minutes, very reasonable in cost, and the proprietors are wonderful people. Called Expedia several times to cancel - never got a person- always a computer voice that made me go through lots of hoops - eventually said an agent would be there- and then hung up. Same thing 3 times. Goidbye Expedia - booked lodging directly for next 10 nights."

"Property looks abandoned -- no onsite office, broken blinds, trash on grass and in parking lot, feral cats prowling the parking lot. Some rooms have been renovated inside, and I was lucky enough to get one of those (after requesting). The interior of my room was fine for a one-night stay. You have to go up the hill to another hotel to check in, etc. Staying here longer than one night was out of the question."
