"This is a lovely old hotel in a fabulous section of Philadelphia. They've done wonderful updates so it is historic but somewhat modernized and tasteful. I have stayed here before but did not get there in time to enjoy the complimentary happy hour. I truly enjoyed it this time. And the included breakfast is one of the best I've ever had at a hotel. When caveat - Don't take them up on their offer for a discounted parking garage. The garage itself is very overpriced, even after their discount....

"The hotel is well off the highway minimizing road noise. My rooms was quiet, comfortable and tried to give off a colonial feeling. My bathroom was also modernized. If i had one criticism, it would be the free breakfast. Nothing but packaged rolls and cereal. The fruit bowl looked like it was the same fruit for the past month. The caps on the juice and milk containers were very dirty and milk tasted sour. Dont be tempted to staynthere for the free breakfast"
