First time here and we were incredibly impressed. The hotel is beautiful and immaculate and comfortable. Loved Hook & Ladder bar, the hotel coffee area/ bar , gym and guest room bathrooms ! Ideal location with walkability to countless spots to eat , get coffee etc. Plus it was non stop entertainment right outside the hotel door on the grassy area ! We will be back!

An old firehouse converted into a boutique hotel. It’s trendy and fun and so clean. Great bar in lobby for drinks and coffee. There doesn’t seem to be a lot around the area as far as shopping or restaurants go, but we love staying here.

My husband and I traveled here with my parents and two children (6yr old and 2yr old) for a long weekend to celebrate my son’s sixth birthday. We wanted a location that was convenient for a short trip to Philly museums and to Legoland discovery. This hotel was about 15-20 minutes from Philadelphia city center and 10 minutes from Legoland Discovery. The hotel is definitely elevated, compared to other hotels in the area. It has a nice bar / lounge area that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And then an upscale dinner restaurant on the second floor with full bar. It also has a large grass field in front of the hotel that is great for children to run around while parents sit in the Adirondack chairs and have a cocktail. Although we didn’t spend too much time outside and given the cold weather, I can only imagine it would be great in the spring and summer! The hotel is nicely located within walking distance from restaurants, coffee, shops, and cafés. There is parking in a self-parking garage that is adjacent to the hotel driveway. It is $30 a night and you can go in and out as many times as you’d like. Front desk staff was very nice. Daily room cleaning was efficient and well done. We stayed on the third floor and could hear car traffic at night when the room was silent, but playing my white noise app was perfect. Otherwise, the hotel was great and we will definitely be back. The only drawback was no microwave in the room, which was okay even with small kids.

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing and in a good location. The check-in was easy, what we did find kind of odd was how close to the front desk is to the bar. They basically share th same area and guests checking in were in mixed in with people at the bar. The reason we didn’t give it 5 stars was the lack of cleanliness in the room and lack of action after the first report. We arrived to our room and noticed that there were work shoe tracks in the entry and the bathroom, the bathroom sink wasn’t properly cleaned and there were some stains on the wall in front of the toilet. We let the front desk know and they said they would take care of it while we were out. When we came back, the towels were replaced and the bed was made but none of the things we reported to the front desk were taken care of. When we went to bed, we noticed that one of the pillows had old bloody spots on it. In addition to the lack of cleanliness, we also had to pay for parking. I’ve never been to a hotel where I have to pay for parking, unless I’m using the valet service, which wasn’t the case. We paid $20 for parking for two nights which isn’t bad, but with how much we paid for the stay, it would have been nice if that had been included in the amenities. When we checked out this morning, we let Kay at the front desk know about all the issues and she kindly tried to offer us free breakfast or points in the rewards program to remedy the issue. This will be the first and last time we stay here.

Great place near plenty to-do

We went for a quick family get-a-way for shopping and a spa nearby. Pleasantly surprised at how cool this facility is. Very nice staff, though had little interaction since everything was perfect. Great location for enjoying nearby shopping and dining.
