"I've stayed at the property several times whilst attending a work training event. On a number of occasions I have been allocated a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the rest of my colleagues. When I queried this at check in, I was advised there were no other rooms available. "The hotel is very dated and not as well maintained as the photos look. Furniture along the halls on the 3rd floor that were oddly placed. We paid £80 in addition to the stay, for the spa (price for a couple) and it was not worth it, it felt overbooked so had to wait to move between the facilities, floor tiles moved around the jacuzzi, food in the spa wasn’t great. "The hotel looked very posh and impressive from the outside, and that was probably the only part I genuinely liked. Unfortunately, once inside, it felt about 30 years behind modern standards. The room was clean, but honestly, the average person probably has a better bedroom and bathroom at home than what was being offered here. I also paid extra for a room with a king-size bed, but it was the smallest “king” bed I’ve ever seen, which was really disappointing. The bath was ridiculously small too...
