"This was the highlight of our trip to Japan! The hotel is stunning. The manager went above & beyond on multiple occasions, personally escorting us to restaurants around the town and even helping us book bus tickets to get back to Tokyo! The rooms are spacious, clean & beautiful. They had great amenities including a Dyson hairdryer & free laundry which was a lifesaver for us! The breakfast was delicious as well. We loved it here and can't wait to come back!"

However, the beds were very hard, just a plat of wood, and a very thin mattress, even my children had a difficult time sleeping on them. "This is such a beautiful location, and the home is well-maintained and decorated with care. When we arrived, four pairs of slippers were waiting for us, just as if we were staying in a traditional ryokan or machiya. We felt welcomed as invited guests. "It was clean. The staff was very nice, they spoke English. There were several on-site parking spaces, these were all very positive. However, the beds were very hard, just a plat of wood, and a very thin mattress, even my children had a difficult time sleeping on them. I have slept on many beds in Japan, and these were the most uncomfortable that I have slept on in four years. I would definitely recommend bringing your own pad or mattress to this location. The other other guests were also quite loud, though that is not the fault of this hotel, but the walls and doors were very thin so you could hear everything going on in the hallway, including being woken up to hairdryers. "
