"Many restaurants and shops nearby, perfect location. Super friendly staff. Spacious room with kitchenette, great shower. Nothing bad to say except maybe some noise from church bell across the street (we were at the front and right across from it), but slept through it so no big issue.
Highly recommend. "

"I definitely recommend Black Pearl if you are staying at downtown Reykjavik. It's walkable to food, shopping and Bus Stop #4 for tour pickups. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable1 All the staff people are awesome! It will be my place to stay whenever I come back to Iceland in the future !!"

"Helpful staff. They would go the extra step. Very clean hotel and great location. Cool bar and lobby. Loved the room decor and setup. Only small gripe was lowest volume on TV was too loud. I tried to go lower, but volume would go silent. Otherwise, a great stay and I would stay again! "

"Very nice and clean apartment. We enjoyed the close proximity to many shops and restaurants. Private parking is very convenient.

"This hotel is amazing!!! I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone anytime. The free breakfast was AMAZING!!! Me being a gold member of Expedia gave me 2 free drinks. The free SPA is an amazing experience DO NOT SKIP IT!!!! please please take advantage of the beautiful spa experience to relax and unwind after your busy day in Reykjavik!!!! "Wonderful location just off the center of the city. Comfortable and clean apartment. Felt very safe for a solo traveler. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave. I didn’t use the other appliances. Bed was comfy and shower was fantastic. Host communication was excellent. Convenient luggage storage if you get in early, or if you are leaving the city well after check out. "

"Clean room, great location but no parking which wasn’t ideal since we had a car - had to find street parking which wasn’t easy. For walking it was great, right in the middle of everything. Best breakfast had in Iceland. "
"Perfect location. I was able to walk to shops nearby and the church. My room was small by American standards but very well designed and laid out. The Lopi blanket was a nice touch. I wish they sold them at the hotel as one would have come home with me. I read a comment before I arrived that said to ask for the Marina side if you have a balcony room so thank you to that person.
